Already got my tickets. Can't wait!!!

I know KoL takes heat from the hipsters, but it could be a good show if they play a lot of their early stuff. I'm psyched for Arcade Fire and Strokes.

Duran Duran is the only name you recognize on there.

    LAst day is the best

Good Old War itself makes that day worth it

    rep given.

Good Old War is the only band worth the trip. Maybe Chromeo.

Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti is the only name on there that actually got me interested. Never even been to Coachella, though, and I will probably never want to go either.

Mumford and Sons is about all that does it for me.

I'm not an Indie Hippy, though.

I'm pleased with the lineup. Nowhere near the epicness of last year, but I don't think that lineup will ever be matched. Plus it was so good it led to the festival being ridiculously crowded, so hopefully this year the crowds return to somewhat normal levels of the past.

The KoL thing doesn't bother me too much because they throw at least one terrible headliner in there every year. Honestly in the 3 years I've been the only headliner I really watched was Prince. Coachella is all about the under card and discovering new bands leading up to it.

:( I know nothing about this Coachella thingiemajiggie, so I would like to contribute with this:

Coachella 2010 Time Lapse with Tilt Shift:

 I was researching "time lapse" to do it myself with my camera at night and found the second one. The first one I found this morning while searching for the second one. Enjoy, ladies and gents.

Don't think I can think of a band that I despise more than Kings of Leon. So terrible

    Arcade Fire and the Strokes...nice

i saw ariel pink at funfunfun a couple months ago - had never heard them before, but they were one of the best bands i saw that weekend.

i went in 04 when radiohead and pixies played amongst lots of other great bands. that lineup was so ridiculously stacked it was a no-brainer. i almost went the next year when cocteau twins were going to headline, but then they canceled so i didnt get a ticket.

Since some of these acts are bound to wind up on the ACL lineup, I must say that one performer I hope does not wind up on the ACL lineup is Kanye West.

Interesting to see Wire playing at this as well as Brandon Flowers and Kele - wonder if those 2 will do any of their band stuff? I imagine they'll have to as they don't have enough solo material to perform.

Can someone please explain to me what is so great about Kayne West?? I just don't get it with him. I get it with a lot of other artists but not with him.
