In addition to the analysts, the Vegas betting line on the Rockets was something like 32 wins even after the Harden trade.
Hey, everybody keep quiet, Matt Bullard has spoken... Good move, and that's it. By the way, COY means nothing, it has 0 relevance regards the true quality of a coach. Sam Mitchell has one, same as Phil Jackson. Playoff results speak about good coaching, not RS records.
Kevin Mchale the Person...seems like a totally fun dude to be around, and play for... Kevin Mchale the Coach... I shall refer you to this gem: Spoiler
You just diagrammed out the game winning play versus the Wiz. That spoiler looks like perhaps the highest PPP play in the NBA next to Durant's very similar play. And LBJ's. Given that Harden is perhaps the Rockets best player, I will take it.
LOL. In addition, that diagram is like... opposing player X performs a nasty dunk and celebrates then player Y points to the scoreboard and sees 36-17, 7 game streak, .679 and 3rd place in the west.
I think there are too many pundits/voters out there who thought we were contenders before the season started.
Yeah. It is remarkable how shallow Rockets fans can be. When was the last season that they were in such a competitive position?
Phoenix Suns has talent and their run and gun 3 point shooting offense help them win games. To say that phoenix has no talent is foolish.
This. Hornacek and the Suns were projected to be one of the worst (if not THE worst) team in the league. If Phoenix can make the playoffs, and get something like the 6th seed or higher, definite frontrunner for CotY.
If the Suns get into the playoffs, it's going to be Hornacek. The way he's been able to make Gerald Green more than just a dunker and all those pieces come together to form a potent team has really been suprising
COTY, I dont think so. Maybe though. That goes to greg pop now or phil jackson every year if he was still coaching. Has he done a good job so far, yes. Thats about it. Evaluation and status are always in flux though. Looking forward to see what he can do in the latter part.
Mchale is doing a good job, but this is Hornacek's to lose. People were debating if this team would win 5 games against Western conference teams before the season. Kudos to him and them, they've played great.
