The small ball opens things up for WB in a way he's never had before in his career. So he can relentlessly attack and do his thing. But in a way, the unsung hero is JH. On most nights JH will get his, but the reason WB is so free is because other teams focus so much on JH. It is a thing of beauty, literally they have to pick their poison. Love it, hope they can sustain it in the playoffs

That was Boston’s defense ... focus on Harden.

"I think we guarded [Harden] well," Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown said. "I think we accepted his challenge. We just didn't do a good enough job with Westbrook.

"We had a lot of attention on James Harden, and forgot about the other MVP over there. He came out and asserted himself early and took over and dominated this game."

I mean, Stevens went 1-2-2 zone on Harden as a surprise 4thQ defense ... lulz

In the vid, On WB’s assist to P.J. in the corner while backing it in on Brown, Smart has his back to the play, staring at Harden 35’ out. WB dribbling underneath Smart going 4 on 4.

    That’s gravity

Harden scoreless 4th quarter unleashed westbrook for regulation and overtime.
Can't believe nine missed three's in the fourth quarter.

Because opponents are always double team Harden,Hardon will be able to attract at least two defenders, we can 4v3.

And there's no room for Clint in the paint area. Our four shooters are all outside the three-point line, which gives Russell a wide space. That's why Russell is comfortable

But who scored the winning ft? You need a woman in your life, or just a life in general.

Small ball and Harden are just part of reasons, not all of them. His speed and penetration are one of the best in the league. He just takes advantage of them. The biggest change for Russ is giving up tons of 3pt shots and relentlessly attacking the rim. Small ball and Harden make the offense room become larger
for him. But the most important thing is Russ can give up his broken 3pt and do what he is always good at. That maybe the OKC always want.

A big would be better than Harkless, but I do like him.

Bigger than a 6'8 Harkless? Who do you have in mind?

Are you holding out hope for a traditional center?

Dantoni and his public relations committee have made a career of fronting off this style of play as 'run and gun'. The reality is the players lack play making skill.

Offensive rebounding by two bigs is actually a play making skill when done correctly.

Small ball is a myth. Dantoni has never played bigs that actually made plays for other bigs. Look at the lakers and clippers. Lebron is a big who makes plays for Davis, Kuzma, etc. The bucks have bigs that make plays for other bigs like greak freak and lopez.

Harden was pleasantly surprised to get that call in OT. The look on Harden face was a look of shock because everything was made difficult for Harden.

This game caught Harden off guard obviously.

No, I'm not. Bruno would be a great fit, if he was strong and mature with his skill set. He is soft and coming back from injuries.

Harden and Westbrook have great playmaking skills. We don't a big with ball handling skills, but a athletic big who can rebound and space the floor would be ideal for Houston.
