Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. McHale had a winning record as our head coach and led us to the western conference finals. He helped keep the team strong when we were down against the LAC 3-1. Let's here it for Coach McHale!

    Kevin McHale Appreciation Thread

I know many people wanted him gone a long time ago, but we have to be thankful for what he did for this team. Yea he may not be the best coach at drawing up a play but the players really seemed to enjoy playing for him. He lead this team to the WCF and that's something that we've been striving for for years. I am excited to see who replaces him but I wish him the best of luck!

Good guy but not a good coach. He was more of a motivator/cheerleader and the players obviously stopped getting motivated. Maybe he will join "The Rockets Power Dancers." I kid, I kid. Good luck Mchale.

Seems like a good guy. I think he did exactly what the Rockets wanted him to do, but it appears we needed something else.

I honestly thought James Harden was the problem. They should of traded James Harden to the Wolves for Andrew Wiggins.

Nothing against him as a person. Just wasn't a big fan of him as our coach.

Good luck to you Mr. McHale!

He finished 193-130. Great guy, player's coach, snubbed for COY last year. Thank you for your contributions!

mchale isn't the right coach for this team...but he should be appreciated. he has helped developed harden into a star, helped recruit dwight and we had our best season in the last 15+ years last year. he's also a great guy and i wish him the best of luck in whatever he does next.

I admit I'm a McHale fan. I am sorry to see him go, wish him all the luck in the world on future teams. I think the team let him down, although I agree he probably wasn't the right guy to take them to the next level. But beware the next guy.

What happens if the next coach can't turn things around? Can we blame the players, or do we just say the new coach "needs time."

I liked him enough, and I wish things hadn't come to this but here we are.

Wish you best of luck in your future endeavors coach!
