Manu is like Yao. A star with class. he knows his game is not what it used to be . Kudos on him helping the youngsters out.

He has been one of my favorite non-Rockets for years now. I remember not too long ago, about maybe 4 years ago, he was very entertaining to watch. It seems like though that he plays with less flair than he used to ever since he injured his ankle.

I always knew he had top notch bball IQ.

That play that Manu used in the video was actually right from Pops' playbook and it was actually made for Manu himself. And of course Duncan was in the high post setting the pick and dishing it of. However in the game that I saw it implemented in, Manu had a much wider look, but missed it. It was very well executed though.

I won't be surprised if the Spurs offered Manu a spot in the coaching staff when he retires.

Pop has let TD run the timeout a few times before so I'm not suprised. I wonder who on our roster can they same.

What you mean the beating I took suggesting a couple of years ago that we should trade a healthy TMac for him?

Yeah, but folks don't want to hear that...they just want to talk about Dan Langhi....

    Bunch of minions....

    ;)

Manu has gone from hatred, to respect to admiration.

i dont know...i think Manu and TD are the kind of players who aren't afraid to call you out...but they do in a such a mannner that it's not offensive to the player...plus they're also the kind of players you can't help but respect...with that combo other players will always be more open to criticism and how they can improve. In battier's case, i think he has the respect, but he wouldn't call anyone out. He's more likely to take them aside and give them some advice. Within a huddle he'd be too robotic.

Basically Battier gives instructions, but Manu and TD give demands.

Battier for sure. Brent Barry back when he was here 2 years go...Yao potentially but I dunno because there is definitely still a language barrier and he would be very limited in time. I feel like Lowry and budinger in about 6-8 years will be guys that will have that ability as well.

    Battier or Miller.
Maybe Martin, because he's familiar with the offense.
