No, both sides should be civil because when one isn't then it leads to more incivility. When politicians outright call for incivility, they'll get it, but it might be directed at them. That's why it's time to cut that **** out and return to sanity before people get hurt.
I hope they catch whoever is doing this and make an example of them. I am very curious which way the perpetrator(s) lean politically. This reeks of a desperate attempt to spread the mob label that the left has earned to the right side. I am not saying that is what happened but it would not surprise me one bit.

Also the Dodge Challenger was fake. The Parkland MAGA hat shooter was fake also. Gabby Gifford's shooter was fake also. Pretty sure this was the work of Soros operatives. My best guess is that Soros orchestrated this with Obama and Clinton in an effort to divert attention to the angry brown mob forming at the border. This way the Democrats can sneak in Palestinian breeders to populate the USA and spread Islam at a rapid pace. I'm waiting for the Dear President's twitter feed to tell me who to attack or blame for all of this.

I agree. If only both sides could cool the rhetoric. Rather than point the finger to the other side when something bad happens. Then again we can't even do that here (your original post) so what makes us think they will do it. There are elections to win and bases to fire up because nothing says I am right like my politician winning an election.
We need more information, we don't know if they are "weirdos". Have you considered that perhaps the FBI did it to weaken the President ahead of the mid terms?
