CNN.com: Julia Child dead @ 91

I just saw her on tv the other day. I don't know who's show it was, but I was flipping through channels and I was like, hey, that's Julia Child, she's still alive? Then I changed it. Wow, I didn't know she was 91, RIP. I use to watch her show as a kid.

 

That is sad, but not surprising. She will be missed. I really liked her.

 

RIP, Julia. you'll be missed.

 

I'll miss her, she's made outstanding contributions to the culinary landscape in America.

 

Agree. I remember seeing her on the Food Network with Emril cooking a crab boil the last time I saw her. +

My only real lasting memory of Julia Child is the skit Dan Ackroid did of her on SNL.

"Oooh, I've cut the dickens out of my thumb! "

Ditto. I think that is the funniest thing ever on SNL.

 

Don't forget her contributions to the secret service. Julia Childs was a badass.
