    I hope this isn't true as well. I admire the guy since he's real funny and always comes off as such a nice guy. Without reading about it, I'd speculate that it's just some upset fan or someone trying to get money from him.

    I just saw him in Agent Cody Banks 2, he doesn't seem like a person who would do something like that but then again I don't really know him either

    I liked him in "My Baby's Daddy".

    It was one of those movies that I wasn't expecting to be funny, and I ended up liking it immensely.

    He's innocent. There's no reason for him to have done this.

    I know that a lot of stars do completely unreasonable things to ruin their careers, but I'd like to assume that he's innocent until a court shows me otherwise. Or until the media tells me some stuff that I didn't know previously.

    Fair enough that people hope it isn't true, but far too many judge celebrities based upon their public persona, with no real idea what they are really like.

    I hope it isn't true, I love everything this guy does. If you had the misfortune of seeing Kangaroo Jack on HBO when nothing else was on, at least Anthony Anderson was there to make you laugh. The snippet of him I saw in the trailer of Harold and Kumar is enough to make me want to watch it.

    More info on the extent of the assault:

    Actor Anthony Anderson was arrested in July 2004 for the aggravated rape of a woman who police say was assaulted after being lured into a production trailer on a Memphis movie set. According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Anderson, 33, and Wayne Witherspoon, 42, violated the woman, a movie extra, "with their hands and took pictures of her while she was nude."

    well, I do hate to see it, but if it happened, then his azz needs to go to jail...that type of behavior is unacceptable...

    Just because someone makes us laugh or entertains us doesn't mean they should be above the law (e.g. Kobe)...
