I bought this game 2 days ago and the pressure has been hard in chat about starting up a league already. We kinda agreed that we would go to France this time around, much to the joy of boville. As mentioned earlier this game has added some very nice features, that make it so much more fun or easy to do a league. It did not however please me totally with leaving some webwork to the commish, but I guess I could take it. As for long term development of players. I don't know. Havent played a single season, but I haven't seen to much complaint about it at SI either. Not that I've looked that hard. As I wont get to play multiple season in like a very long time I would suggest that for those issues the SI board is the place to look. Btw, just for clarification - as the link I provided show the national with 2 games played. I have only been adding teams at the moment, not moved up a single day. The standings is from another 'game' I did to put up some stats. If you spot a player that is listed (Lst) he would most likely be sold with the first opportunity unless stated otherwise. No one has been sold so far though. Same goes for listed for loan players (Loa), if an offer comes along while we move up it will most likely be accepted unless some guidelines have been given,
As far as I am concerned any of my players can be sold. I will have the game in a few days so I will be able to look at things a little more closely. I am holding out for that. DOes 03/04 offer the same network play that 4 had??
As the development in training sadly does not show in the .htm pages I will give a summary here of the overall development under current training. At the moment a screen of some of my players development can be found in screen 2. As can be seen from that a lot of development is going on that does not affect the overall (Ovr) development. Here is the overall development for teams (pos-neg) during the first week (approx since I'm not sure of the start date) of training. Nimes (myself) and Reims (Zac) changed the training over to preseason training for all players (Zac all but goalies). Nimes 12-1 Reims 4-1 Brest 5-6 Beauvais 5-8 Cannes 3-9 Wasquehal 1-5 Pued (Wasquehal) changed his training to pre-season for all cept goalies in chat, just now. Also sent out scouts to France and youth.
Moved up about 8-9 days and this is the development in the training department: Nimes 8-11 Reims 5-8 Brest 9-12 Beauvais 10-8 Cannes 12-6 Wasquehal 11-5 After this change in fortune I changed back my training to the default one for all except the 8 guys still responding to the preseason regime. Some teams started to challenge for friendlies and I accepted for all except nomar who for some reason in chat said he want his players as little prepared for the season as possible. Well he said he didnt want friendlies, but that is pretty much the effect of not letting your players get a game or two each before the season - they're not ready to compete and will use the first few games to catch up to speed. In addition 2 friendlies extra has been set for Nimes and Reims. The current date is 27/6 and two of the teams has a friendly that date. The season kicks off 2/8. The fixtures has been updated. Some players have been sold and for all teams that have had some kind of transfers so far there has been added a transfer section to their team and their finances has been updated. Teams with friendlies upcoming, well I guess that is most all, need to post some kind of lineup, otherwise it will be left to the AM to manage those games.
Let the AM handle my team. I will have the game Wednesday or Thursday and I will take over most of the duties then.
HEath, If we have not gotten to the start of the season please schedule a couple of extra friendlies for my team. Carlisle for one and a random team for the other. I don't have a date preference but I think my team needs more than one friendly. If it turns out that it auto scheduled some since the last fixture update then disregard this. CK
