[ClutchFans] Source: Rockets have begun filming Chris Bosh recruiting video

Love the effort here, but at this point I think we're out of the picture with the moves teams are making to clear cap space (Miami and Chi)

 

I wish the Rockets could convince Hakeem to be part of the recruitment process. My hunch is that there isn't anyone associated with the Rockets that Bosh respects more.

 

Well hopefully when Bosh was down here in Houston practicing/learning from the Dream, Hakeem put in a good word for us ..

 

Ya Hakeem would be GREAT! I can already envision Bosh's reaction, "wait... didn't you leave Houston to come where I am already at?"

I kid...

 

That interview made me have some hope, seemed like he could go for Houton

 

honestly i don't see how all these recruit tactics really help. like making songs, billboards, websites...lol

it's going to be a domino effect and once lebron and wade chooses their teams, the others will fall in place

 

If we can get him 7 yrs, we're in the picture.

 

Even if the odds are 1%, and you can bump that to 2%, you do that. Because if you don't try at all, you'll never succeed. I love that the Rockets front office are making the effort. Sure, it doesn't always pay off. But if you make enough of these efforts, eventually a player will bite.

The alternative is to be like Miami or Chicago: First suck a lot and grab a lot of high picks. Then gut your roster. If you can avoid that, you do so.

 

I hear the DVD version has Lebron James easter eggs. :grin:

 

Bosh sounds like he's given some thought to Houston already.

I don't see it happening. Would you take your chances on Yao, as opposed to being with LeBron and Wade in either Mia or Chi (along with Rose & Noah)? Not trying to be pessimistic but I don't see how we are a better contender. It was different when the comp was NY, who could surround 2 max guys with garbage.

is it just me or did Bosh get really weird in his response to the Rockets tweet?
