According to a source, Rafer will be out of the game against Dallas tomorrow due to the groin injury he had suffered previously. Reportedly, Aaron Brooks will be brought back up to the NBA roster and activated.

Clutch is on his way out of town for the weekend. He got the info and called me so I could post it.

That must be why Aaron was in the Rockets locker room pics posted earlier today playing that Guitar Hero game with his teammates.

Let's hope he is the backup PG and gets some meaningful minutes.

    No Rafer against Dallas...uh oh....

One more chance for Steve and MJ to step up.

How is Francis? Will he be able to take over -- he didn't look like he was in the best of health the last time he played.

Damn it... Rafer Alston is soft. He needs to get hard and play with his groin.

    that sounds about right.

    According to the Rockets website:
Injury Update: G Rafer Alston (strained groin) is out for the Rockets; G Devin Harris (stomach virus) and G Eddie Jones (right leg) are probable for the Mavericks.
    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Rockets_seek_finishing_mentali-248602-34.html

Also if you look at the "projected Starting Lineup::
    Pos Player PPG RPG
    G Mike James 8.8 2.2
    G Tracy McGrady 24.8 5.0
    F Shane Battier 7.8 4.7
    F Chuck Hayes 3.2 6.0
    C Yao Ming 21.5 10.2

    maybe James will start..hummmm

I am confident that this game will prove that our previous two Raferless losses had nothing to do with Reefer being out of the lineup, and everything to do with a general lack of passion/cohesion we played with on the road.

The no-Reefer thing was the scapegoat, and a very stupid and unhealthy one. Hopefully it lights a fire under Francis' and James' asses and doesn't further deteriorate their confidence... which Francis seemed to be getting back slowly before the Sixers game.

^^^ Uh, just to clarify, the reason I'm confident is because I believe we will win.
