I hope every ClutchFan will add his/her best wishes, even prayers, here. This thread will hopefully be seen by Greg Oden while he recovers... Dear Greg Oden: Here's hoping for your speedy and complete recovery. Stay strong, keep working at it each day. You have it in yourself to come back and be better than ever. All best wishes from your Houston Rockets fans.
Yeah... I think the Houston fanbase knows as much as any fanbase can about the pain of having a talented and popular star being injured for the season. Best of luck on the recovery to Oden.
Greg Oden is in my prayers and wishes. I wish him a complete recovery and success as an NBA basketball player. The mods can put it in the NBA dish.
wrong forum. oh, and they should've picked durant. PS- oden should retire. he's made enough money that if he invests wisely he never has to work again. there is no point in putting yourself through the pain of injury/surgery every year.
Anyone who remembers Bowie, has to think it. That was sad. I certainly hope & pray Oden's situation turns out better. Good luck, Greg!
not that I believe that Oden will ever see the thread but I agree, if anyone knows how Blazers fans feel it's us. Hopefully he gets well and next season he and Yao can battle again.
What if he loves the game though? He knows he still has to prove that he was worth being the No. 1 pick. Just the fact that he was cheering on his teammates and felt like he disappointed them while he was being carried off made me wish that he gets to play again. As for Oden vs Durant, Durant is the better player but Oden is a better fit for them imo. They already have a solid core and adding Durant wouldve ruined that core because he'd be taking shots away from Aldridge and Roy.
Wish all the best for Greg Oden. Sad story, but he will have his bright days soon...hopefully not against the Rockets though.
All best wishes to Greg. But Greg, when you read this, think about it. Each major injury in a professional athlete's life hurts like a b**** when he gets older, and some guys end up pretty immobile. How do you want to spend the rest of your life, post-NBA, and what are 2-3 more NBA years worth compared to 40-50 post-NBA years lived with more mobility.
