Robert Boudwin aka Clutch is a superstar!

I was once Sammy the Owl for Rice Basketball. Man, I couldn't see **** in that costume. Thinking I was going to run over cheerleaders. I don't know how mascots in big head costumes do it.

 

First D'Antoni.. then axing Clutch. Damn you Les!

 

13 years ago I would sometimes be Sharky, the Kemah Boardwalk mascot. That costume could not have smelled worse; didn't matter what we sprayed it down with. I later withdrew my name from the Sharky wearers and became one of Sharky's body guards who asked kids to stop attacking him once they inevitably started.

 

I thought Robert Boudwin was excellent as Clutch the Bear. Anyone have the story on him leaving? Was it his own accord or was he fired?

I hear Golden State stole him away for their Super Team. Probably change his name to Max the Bear.
