DD like VSpan, too, didn't he? Please DD, please be a hater for once.

With Pau, Llull, and Scola on the same team, Houston would be the hit of ESPN Deportes.

Llull makes the iminent loss of Dragic less painful.
Moti/Patterson combo at the 4 is not to shabby either.

A pretty good pickup by Rockets management, hey? Considering all the grief Morey has gotten around here from certain quarters lately, perhaps some will reconsider. He's another second round pick acquired by Morey, bought from the Nuggets for $2.25 million bucks. That's a hell of a gamble. Looks like it's paying off, doesn't it.

ACB named Sergio Llull MVP for February. Don't have a link.

Has anyone (actually knowledgable) done a 'draft' of NBA 'controlled' overseas players?

I would find it interesting to see where Llull and Donuts would be deemed draft positional if they were drafted rightthisveryminute?

If GM's knew then what they know now about last years drafted players Donatus would have been a top 5 pick.

Looking at Draftexpress this year I would probably take Perry Jones ahead of him just because of his pure athleticism but I would do alot of background checking because I am not sure about his heart. Jones is the 7th pick on DE and I do not see anyone else I would take ahead of Donut. That makes Donut a top 8 pick.

As for Llull it's not as fair because he is older and the upside of some of these players is much better. But Llull is doing things in this ACB leaugue that Rubio couldn't do last year.

    Thanks.

I was thinking where the internationals rank 'after the fact' would be an interesting look-see.

Most likely 2 years. Feigen mentioned that his buyout with his current team is large after this season, but is modest after the next season (2012-2013). So, economically it makes sense to wait until 2013 to bring him in.

He could be bought out a middle price between the two numbers. I think that's a strong possibility since Dragic is unlikely to be signed to an extension, and may be traded.

2 years would be a good time. Give Flynn a chance at the point and when he fails you can say you gave him a chance.

We declined Flynn's option. He probably won't be back next year.
