On the other end, you look at the box score, the wolves outboarded us by 20+, outshot us by 5%, Towns had a huge gam, Rubio had a good game, and they put in 130 points. So it must be a huge blowout for them, right? That's how good this team is. This would have been a loss before the trade deadline and Harden didn't even play that well.

If we're not hitting those threes--it's been known to happen--it's a big loss.

This is likely the happiest I've ever seen Harden since he has been here. E.G., Lou, and to a lesser extent, Anderson, take a lot of pressure off Harden to deliver night in, night out.

Finally, Harden has the help he has always wanted.

Pat Beverley, Nene will sit out practice today, but just to be cautious. Beverley said groin muscle a little tight.

I've yet to do the heavy data crunching on this so I can't provide irrefutable evidence for it right now, but I have a theory that when teams miss more of their shots than usual, they tend to not perform as well; and, further, that such abnormally poor performance may lead to a lower winning percentage.

Again, it's just a theory. But it agrees with your statement above. Perhaps one day we can run the numbers and see what comes of it.

Ruled out, then in on Sat, Beverley said there will be no pregame uncertainty tomorrow. Asked if he'll be playing, said, "Yeah, hell yeah."

Patrick Beverley wasn't supposed to play on Saturday night with tightness in his left groin but he did, scoring... https://t.co/pOY1XBrTuO

Perhaps. Maybe someone with one of those modern, what do you call them? "computers," can help us out. Until then, we are condemned to view the world with only our eyeballs, and the nature of Reality will remain elusive to us.

Little did we know that when we signed some random dude from Russia, he'd end up being a ******* Houston legend, but here we are...
