I believe the next two games will show what kind of team we have.

It is a interesting time for ClutchFans. We will see who are the true Rocket fans.

I'm hoping we see more of our regular season rotation, but we'll probably be without Scola, so I guess not. Still, I hope to see a Hayes/Landry/Ariza/Battier/Brooks starting line with Budinger/Lowry/Taylor/Pops rotating it. Without Scola, that's what our rotation SHOULD be...

Would not surprise me if we tried Hayes on Durant, although I feel like Chuck is least effective when dealing with a tall faceup scorer/shooter attacking from the perimeter.

I would be extremely surprised if Hayes guards Durant. Hayes would have to chase a guy around on the perimeter, and although a great defender, that is not his strength.

I would go with Ariza, Battier. Why else do we have them for lol...to guard the best perimiter players

He'll foul out in less than 20min of action. I'm calling it.

I agree with you. I think Ariza or Battier are the best matchups. However, OK's lineup, if they start the regular season is most likely going to be WestBrook at point, Harden at SG, Green at SF, Durant at PF, and either Thomas/Collison/Krystic at the 5. If they start that lineup tonight, it is going to be interesting to see how we matchup defensively with them.

By the way, Cook and Barry (expirings) for Krystic is probably a trade OKC would do. Wonder if Morey would take on Krystic's extra year?

    Going to the game.

Hope we can pull this out. Anxious to see Ariza in action against Durant.

This is going to be an interesting matchup for our new run offense. I can't wait.
