Keeping his mug in mind, Yao will go off for 37 and 14.

Yao said to a Chinese reporter that he is not sure if he will play against the Suns.

It doesn't matter if yao is in this game. We are now a road team. We will do better on road later.
    With Yao, 108:106
    Without Yao, 99:109

    it's in the chron

"A deep bruise in his right calf kept him sidelined and he refused media requests to talk about it. When asked if he would play Sunday against the Phoenix Suns, Yao said, "I don't know."

That's not exactly what his teammates wanted to hear, especially after missing their 7-6 center sorely in the 76-73 loss to New Orleans."

    A loss. 110:95

I think the guards of Rockets have been feeling the age for some time. At this time, I think they need 120% effort to have their average shooting percentage. Yao might not play, even if he plays, he won't be 100%.

yao will play, we need the experience and mental strength in case we play the suns in the playoffs. Suns will lose because they think we are weak for just losing to the hornets, on the otherhand, we will fight twice as hard to prevent embarassing ourselves.

If Yao sits out this game, look for TMac to come out guns ablazing. TMac gonna score 54 points to lead the Rockets over Suns.

The Rockets have won 10 of their last 14 what do you mean feeling their age? They don't need to play at 120% percent to get their average shooting percentage. Take a look at the Portland game to see what happens when they're playing normally. One bad game doesn't change anything.

I'm extremely positive that Yao will play Sunday. Unless it's real serious, it will not look good to his team mates if he can't tough it out. Look at Sura.....look at Tmac.....how can he possibly sit out against one of the supposedly best teams in our conference.

This is going to be a tough game. We might have to start Bowen or go with a T-mac at the 4 spot to match up with them because there is no way that Spoon can guard Marion. Hopefully Yao is back because if he sits out we have basically no chance of winning. My gut feeling tells me this is going to be a loss. I hope iam wrong.

The lost of the last game is a good thing in certain senses.

First it serves to booster the confidence of Yao Min. Yao now know how important he is or he bebieve he is. Without him, Rox is no better then last year's Magic. This confidence boostering will bring positive result in Yao and Rox's future game.

Second, Yao has a longer time to rest a little bit. He is really tired and can not play through it as planned. A much needed rest will let him back on track.

Third, the team now better understand the role of Yao, he is not just a replacable role player, he is not worse than Motembo, rather much more effective on court. So his teammate will defenitely look more to him for offense.

I predict yao will be having much better games later
