Just deny Sun's teammates the ball and let Brooks work his 'magic' in crunchtime...easy win for Rockets
Channin Fry and Nash are out. Im just scared of Marcin Gortat. But we win anyway and a step closer to playoffs.
Nash makes Marcin Gortat look better than he really is... Brooks can't do that.. So Gortat should not be that effective tonight... Nash is damn accurate with passes... Brooks is not that sharp. We can/should always try to deflect his passes tonight and run on the those turnovers.
As long as Addled Man limits the lineup minutes without both Hill and 2Pat on the floor this ought to be an easy win. For the love of Hakeem, please do not have C-Bud and Miller on the floor at the same time. Good friggin godlessness. Vince Carter is going to look like prime Jordan if C-Bud and Miller share minutes on the court again. I mean, sweet Jaysis, Rick, I know you ain't coming back next season, but it ain't the fans' fault so stop taking it out on the fans. I mean, Morey was kind enough to trade a perfectly good 2012 1st for a chew toy for you, ain't that enough to take your frustration out on?
I saw the Magic playing against the Suns, yesterday ... Rockets should be able to win this easily (without Brad Miller)
I hope Sun could win, which could give us a better pick if them make payoffs, but I do not think they can win this game with Brooks as point guard, they need Nash.
Goran and Lowry will both make it difficult for Brooks since he struggles against big PG's. Payback for the Phoenix loss.
Up close and personal, I got some free suite tix. My first game in 2 years. Rox should win this easily but is Rick is still doing WTF substitutions? Has he made a successful late game play? Does he still yank the hot players out the game? Does he play them the same minutes he promised before the game? Do the other asst. coaches still ride the pine or their clueless as well?
Dude... Suns are not making playoffs... Book it. Suns/Jazz are not making it. Memphis is likely to make it... second, Houston. No chance of PHX/Utah getting in.
I watched the Suns play the Magic yesterday. I laughed at Brooks. Gentry to Brooks, "Play like you did in Houston. Shoot anytime you want." Brooks: "Dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble... oh, 2 seconds left and I don't have a shot. Pass. Here teammate, you try." Next play. Teammate has ball, starts to pass to Brooks. Stops. Turns and passes ball back to other teammate. Nobody wants to play with a guy like that.
Sons of CLUTCH CITY! Of ROCKETS! My brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of our ROCKETS fails, when we forsake our team and break all bonds of fellowship, in favor of tanking but it is not this day. An hour of the suns and Grizzlies shattered Blazers when the Age of Rocket Men comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Men of the Western Conference fight the Wind, Rain and the SUNS TONIGHT!
Quote from Gortat Marcin Gortat, for one, is concerned Brooks might play a bit too much one on five basketball as he tries to put on a show for his old fans and prove the Rockets made a mistake dealing him. “I’m just scared it’s going to be an Aaron Brooks versus the Houston Rockets, that’s what I’m scared of,” Gortat said. “I’m just scared it’s going to be one big game, and I know Aaron is going to want to have a good game over there just like I want to have it here [against Orlando]. It’s going to be frustrating if Steve’s not playing, for real. I’m going to be the guy missing him the most, trust me.”
