Yao stuffs Amare up Marbury's ass in an attempt to avenge losing the 8th seed last year.

The resulting Amarbury scores 70 points against Rockets.

    Suns 95, Rockets 88

I propose mandatory banning on anybody that types "1st" in a game thread...

This is where the Rockets go on their big skid. Hopefully, they don't do it again in April like they did last year. I could easily see us losing this game and probably five of the next 7...

We are at the tail end of a back to back night; so we are tired. But we are angry at losing the 8th seed to Phoenix last year. So, we came out with tons of intensity and crashed the Phoenix.

The game will be decided by the ref. If Yao gets his fair share of foul call in his favour, we shall establish our inside game and win. If not, trouble trouble, another poor shoorting night for the team overall.

Good thing is, Phoenix's inside game will have challenge with our twin tower inside. Wait, the Marion and Marbury guys could hit from outside. Anyway, Houston is more hungry after losing to Dallas and so they should and will win by 8:

    Houston 86
    Phoenix 78

    :)

    I agree ATrain...

since when did it become the big fad to get first or second or whatever?

    who the hell cares??

    Now...on topic.

We got shown up in Dallas ...Dallas showed what they are capable of, and for the most part(especially the first half) the Rockets didnt look to bad..they just fell apart in the second half...

well...the Suns are not as good as Dallas...not even close.

and we have something to prove..

I see the Rockets coming out with passion...and beat down on the Suns. Francis needs to find out where he put his D, he will need it against Marbury.

    I think Rox win..
they keep the Suns below 85

    95-85

Gotta Keep the Faith. Go Rox

A must win; the Rockets cannot take two nights off in a row. This is a early test of character. JVG will do all he can to "juice" them up, let's see if they respond. Someone give Ming a B-12 shot, please. Can you use O2 on the sidelines in the NBA? If so, get some. Ming needs it. He looks totally exhausted, and it is the 8th game of the season.

I will be cheering them on in my free red t-shirt full off of a 20% off Kim Son meal.

The Rocks must get back on their feet and win this game.
I think our defense will pull us through.
Hopefully Yao is still fired up about losing ROY.

Also Its rumored Piatkowski will return tonight.
Hopefully a perimeter threat is not a problem and we will take another big step into turning into the Inside Outside team JVG has in mind.

Didn't we have a far, far better record in the second game of back-to-back's last year than in the first?

    Hope it continues.

Yao will stink again. Mobes shows the first 6 games were an aberration. Steve will shoot like c**p.

    Rockets win - 95-85.

we could easily win 5 of 7 too... A-Train for such a huge diehard fan you're pretty defeatist.

i've never made a prediction before but here:

    90-82

i won't say who wins so i get 2X the chance of getting it right haha.
