OKC and Houston, both fake contenders with delusional fans thinking they can still make a noise in the playoffs..who will win?

Rockets update: Guard James Harden (sprained left ankle) sat out Monday's practice and is questionable. … Forward Donatas Motiejunas has scored in double figures six times this season, three times in the past four games. He has averaged 12 points on 51.4 percent shooting in that stretch. … Michael Beasley has averaged 17.8 points in the last six games. … Dwight Howard was ejected five minutes into the second half of the previous meeting with two technical fouls, with Enes Kanter scoring 18 points in 14 minutes with Howard out of the Rockets' loss.

Thunder update: They have won their last four games since losing at home to the Timberwolves, winning by an average of 18.2 points and completing a road trip sweep by holding off the Pacers in Indianapolis. … With the Jazz's loss on Sunday, the Thunder became the third Western Conference team to clinch a playoff spot. … Oklahoma City is second in the NBA in scoring and offensive rating, third in field-goal percentage. … Russell Westbrook has 14 triple-doubles this season, the most since Magic Johnson had 17 in the 1988-89 season. … With 33 points Saturday in Indianapolis, Kevin Durant has scored at least 20 in 55 consecutive games, one shy of matching the longest streak of his career.

Statistically speaking: The Thunder have outrebounded teams by 8.5 boards per game, the fourth-largest margin since rebounds became a statistic in 1950. Oklahoma City is 40-12 when outrebounding opponents. The Thunder lead the NBA with an average of 15.4 second-chance points per game. The Rockets allow 14.3 per game.

sometimes things work in strange ways.

harden starts, but only plays 5 mins b4 his ankle gives in.

but... then beastley drops 50pts for a rockets win.

    :)

If we win without Harden, the Harden haters will come pouring out of the woodwork like cockroaches in a house demo.

Of course... I make it to the Finals of my fantasy basketball comp for the first time, after making a blockbuster trade for Harden midway through the season... And he's going to be injured for the Final.

    ehhhhhh.

But you know, get well soon Harden so you can help Houston win and all that jazz too.

I am not a Harden lover but I guarantee I won't go full throttle bashing that bearded guy.

Thunder should be much better than the Rockets but as a matter of fact they have as much talent as the Rockets with a better record.

Win or lose the remaing 2 matchups against them does not matter that much in the regular season.

Playoffs are an entirely different topic

Yes... because clearly, Harden has been the problem this season.

With Harden on the court : + 0.7

With Harden off the court : - 6.3

    Harden's on/off margin this season : + 7.0

    Yup, definitely makes sense.

Definitive proof that Harden ruins the Rockets. Get this bum out of there and let Brewer do work.

Hard to tell what's sarcasm and what's an honest, but stupid opinion on this board.

    Smileys would help, guys.
