Living in San Marcos which is a spurs town, and living with a roommate who is a spurs fan and his friends are coming to visit are spurs fan. Nothing would make me more happier than to see the Rockets win on thursday so I can wear my Rockets jersey on Friday. Go Rox! I'll say 88-85 Rockets.

Coming from the guy who said Dan Langhi would be a perennial All-Star

I don't know who will win the game, but there's no way in heck Rockets will not score at least 85 pts. They're due for something resembling offense

Prediction: Opponents can't stay afloat. Rockets 98 Spurms 91

Roxs may need to ugly it up tonite, which they've done all season, I think the game is winnable but my gut tells me it probably won't happen. However, it's a good thing I listen to my heart, I think Swift will have a huge game tonite, along with T-mac who will find his shooting touch.

Time for the Rockets to show the Spurs they aren't the only powerhouse in the conference.

Yaoza, Yaoza, Yaoza! 36/14 for the big fella, unless the refs shackle him with fouls as usual. Rox win this one by one after T-Mac scores the last 18 points of the game... I hope.

I've got a funny feeling we're gonna win this game.

We'll step up our game because:

    1) We're all healthy (except Sura).
    2) This will be the first Western contender we've played this season.
    3) They're division rivals.
    4) We know that we must make a statement that we can beat them.
    5) Our guards are overdue for a night of good shooting
    6) We know that we have the talent, all we need is hustle
    7) They're the champions. They're the team to beat.
    8) The past 7 games have shown us where we need to improve
    9) Swift's, DA's, and Alston's games are coming around
    10) Yao is bigger and badder this year

The Spurs losses this year have been at the hands of Washington and Dallas, fast, high powered offensive teams. If we play that slow paced half court offense, defensive low scoring game we will definitely lose, the Spurs are the masters of that style of play. JVG needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat and surprise the Spurs and run them out of their home court.

If Yao keeps taking 8 shots per game, we don't have chance at all, not to mention Spurs.

I'm hoping it's where the Rockets get out of the funky playing, much like last year. I saw glimpses of that tenacious D they can play, so I say close game. IF they play the kind of defense they showed late in the last game, I say Rockets by 4: 89-85

    If they don't play Rockets D, it's a loss. Spurs by 8: 94 - 86

Yao & Tmac must be huge....18 & 8 in 30 mins isn't enough from Yao...f we can get ANYTHING from out backcourt to offset Tony Parker then that could put us over the top.

rockets are 7.5 point underdogs in this one.

i think they either win a real close one, or they get blown out...

    rockets 97
    spurs 96
