Amazing to say but I like our matchup with the Spurs. They don't have a ton of size and don't play the consistent tough defense they used to, although better as of late. Lowry/AB will need to out-duel TP/Hill, Martin won't stop Manu but Manu may not be able to stop Kev, RJ/Shane should be key, Scola/Duncan will be key and Blair/Hayes should be fun. IF our bench comes to play, we have a shot. Out of the 4 games on this trip, the Spurs and Jazz are the most winnable, IMHO, because neither has a lot of size and that helps the Rockets a great deal.
Playing the Spurs in their gym before their long road trip. I see a loss.....and a double digit one at that. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I agree that we match up quite well with them. We got 3 games left with them: this one on the road and San Antonio has 2 visits left both at our gym. We had our chances at beating them.. plus we did not had Lowry last time. Rockets are gonna get their scoring and should be in the game till the end of the 3rd. Spurs usually starts defending by then and can control us after that.. so, it's gonna be tough tough tough game. Need to win at least 1 of the next 3 road games, if not two. We can beat any of these three on a given day.. We play good against Lakers... Utah is not as good as before... Spurs kinda matchups well. If we can beat spurs tonight then it will help us in 2 ways: First we get a W and second Spurs will look to bounce back next game agaisnt Portland.
90% (I am leaving 10% because may be Manu will invite Brooks at his house before the game and apologize and beg that Brooks to not kill the Spurs).
We probably won't win if Brooks continues to get heavy minutes and play like garbage. I wish Adelman would just let Ish run the second unit...better defender, better play maker, brings more energy. I love AB, but my patience is wearing thin with this slump/recovery from injury taking over five weeks now...
Unfortunately, I dont agree. a lot of fans of other ball clubs probably said the same thing till they lost, 39 times what they are doing for them is working for them, evidently. holding the best record as of right now. and i cant say the same for us, truth talk hurts
Records say otherwise and to be honest so does current level of play. Spurs are the best team as of now. Would like to see a fight but wouldn't be surprised if it was a laugher.
