Let's fight and play defense. 92-91 Rockets.

 

Scola didn't play a lot of minutes last night so I expect a big game from him. If not, I'm going to twitter him some mean things...

Hope Hill's ankle is just fine. Lowry should put some pressure on Kidd tonight.

The Rockets will probably struggle on the boards. Chandler has been putting up big numbers on the boards as of late. I think he's averaging like 14 a game in the past three or four games.

Will someone please stomp on that little bug Barrea...

I'll be working the game tonight at the AAC. Will definitely sneak in and watch the game. The Mavericks have a lot of empty seats now, unlike in other years this decade. DFW seems tired of them and their 50-win seasons with nothing to show. Rockets win.

Since this is the second game of a back-to-back, why not play Ish Smith more than Kyle Lowry so Lowry can rest more and so the Rockets could some of that crisp, pin-point passing that only Ish Smith can?

 

I expect the Mavs will totally destroy us. That's what I expect. Now, what really happens is up to the Rockets.

 

I will be at tonights :grin: , it will be a tough game. Dallas playing extremely well and back to back for the Rockets.

 

I LOVE how the ESPN site preview of this game has Houston listed with no significant injuries on the bottom right, lol...

This would be a big win if we can beat Dallas on the road on the 2nd night of a back to back. Mavs have been playing good tho.

I hope we keep the little momentum we have and bet the mavs.

I will be there tonight courtside... sprung tickets last night because the ticketholder thought the game was going to be a blow-out for the Mavs. Hope thats not the case but regardless I just hope its a good game.

Last night the Rockets were fortunate enough that the rest of the Thunder other than Westbrook and Serge Ibaka just flat out stunk. Maybe they will get lucky again and the Mavs will be off their game but I wouldnt count on it. Keys to the game.

-Keep the ball out of Dirks hands.
-I expect that the Rockets will double team him, its just the matter of who they want to leave open on the wings. Caron Butler hasnt been playing the worlds best Basketball, but hope he wont break out of his slump tonight. He should get wide open looks.

-Keep an eye on Terry.
- He always lights up the Rockets and has become one of the most hated players to Rockets fans. Heres a hint to Martin and Lowry... he's gonna shoot it.

-Rebound.
- Starting a 6'6" center and Scola Vs. one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the NBA is a recipe for disaster but if they can find a way to get the rebounds defensively then they have a decent shot.

-Run and gun early.
-Put them away early. The last thing they want to do is allow them to beat the Rockets in the half court in a close game in the 4th. Run and gun early and build the lead early on.

 

I expect Chuck to guard him tonight.

I think we'll get killed on the boards tonight. Hill will need to get some early playing time tonight.

 

Who should guard Dirk-Chuck or Scola? I'm thinking Chuck. What do you think?

We can't shoot 60% from 3pt range every game, and that is what this team has to do to win unfortunatly.
