Jazz have been ballin' lately. It's going to be tough.

Harden needs a big game and it's essentially a must win to stay alive for the 2 seed.

Jazz are hottest team in the league right now, 8-2 in their last 10 with wins over the Blazers, Spurs, and Grizzlies. 2nd night of a back to back at Utah..this is going to be tough.

This is going to be another loss since we played heavy minutes and played like ****. This will blamed on the schedule and the Jazz are very good lately, top 5 in the NBA since ASB. We can easily slip to 6th seed by the way and face the Blazers / Clippers without HCA!

Tough game, but I think we pull away for a comfortable win after a slow start.

It's going to tough on the road. It's a must win for us.

A must win if the 2nd and 3rd seed are to remain in play. The Rockets lost the tiebreaker to Portland and likely to Memphis(although it's still mathematically possible). So as tough as this game is, they need to pull it out with the Clippers on deck this Sunday.

BTW, the Rockets need to start winning on the road against quality opponents. Despite their 19-12 mark away from home, they have hardly any wins against really good teams. The last one was a couple months ago in Memphis(and Z-Bo was out that game).

    We can win this one.

We just need to hold it down a little while longer.

    Dwight is coming.

    2 weeks is generous.

    Rim Protection will be back.

    LaMarcus had it too easy.

    Good to hear!

As for LaMarcus, I'm convinced that the Rockets are just the team he gets up for, and there is nothing we can do to stop him. The shots he makes are just absurdly difficult, but he makes them. It's infuriating, and the reason I want no part of Portland in Round 1.

Need this W. Reason I believe for last night lost to the Blazers besides the FTs and Rebounds was the team was not focused due to community (in Portland) events that took their time from being ready.

There's no one left to hate. Sloan is gone. So are all the players. Hard to get worked up over Gordon Hayward(unless you're jealous of his hot wife:grin:). And on top of that, he may not even play tonight.

Last night s game was the only game from the whole season that I was truly disappointed in the Rockets. Complete lack of effort and heart

Rudy Gobert eats rebounds for dinner, so I expect more of the same struggles we saw last night on the boards.

ETA: Utah also leads the league in defensive efficiency over the last 1.5 months (pretty much the time they started giving Gobert heavy minutes). So, there's that.

Very tough game, Gobert might shut Harden out from the paint.
