How can you say win for sure when Boston shoot the balls so well and defend Yao so well with double and triple team?

Yao will be fronted all night long, they have to figure this out sooner better than later.

    A blowout loss

How can this be anything less than a blowout? I'm watching this one for sure.

Let's hope Yao will use this game and the last as the start of a string of good showings. If they lose, they don't deserve to be called professional basketball players

Big payback or Big let down? We need a W before coming home to host the Wolves because their playing outstanding ball. We first got to stay focus and snatch a win from Boston.

    Rockets win...nevermind the score.

If the rocks use the high/low effectively, and swing the ball from strong side to weak using cato to drop it in to yao, yao will get some good touches tomorrow, deep in the paint. I think they were using cato to feed yao tonight a little so they'd be ready for it tomorrow. I see the rocks coming back strong, staying tight to the shooters on the outside while leaving anyone in the paint one on one. Look for some penetration by steve and cat as well tomorrow, anything to break down the D the celts used the other day.

The Rockets should be seeking revenge against the Celtics, and show no mercy. A loss would be a terrible embarrassment. No way should the Rockets EVER be swept by an Eastern Conference team.

The Rockets need to keep pace with Denver (never thought I'd say that), because this season is quickly turning into a joke. Last year, it was Phoenix that came out of nowhere and beat the Rockets out. Now it's Denver. Houston should not be behind Denver at this point in the season, yet they are.

    Anyway, no chance here.

    Rockets: 68
    Celtics: 110

Yao disappears again with only 2 points on 1-5 shooting, and 3 rebounds. Francis scores 12 points to lead the Rockets, with 3 assists and 19 turnovers.

ZRB are you even a Rox fan? sorry I dont mean to bash or anything but thats a blow out from an eastern conference team thats barely over .500.

I think the Rox will make the right adjustments (crossing fingers) and stomp the Celts to get revenge for that last outing. JVG is probably studying tape and working on a game plan for Boston like PnR with Yao near the FT line and more outside shots for Yao to help him open up his inside game and beat the double teams. If the Rox start hitting all their open shots the Celts wont be able to sag and cheat as much tom night..

Hopefully Yao comes out looking for revenge tom. and brings the thunder..

    Yao 31 pts/ 14 rebs/ 6 blks
    SF 18 pts/ 8 rebs/ 9 assists. (hopefully only 2 TO's)

maybe they are warming up Boki to shoot more 3's against Boston tom.

Go Yao! Go Rox! Go Super Duper Backup Bench Brigade!

room, ZRB's an established poster and well-known pessimist. You're not the first one to question his loyalties, but he's definitely a Rockets fan. :) Anyway, he's joking. We all know Yao won't play because JVG hates him and that Steve will only have 10 turnovers. :)

I think the Rocks come out for revenge, but that it will still be close. I hope Yao can overcome or at least neutralize being sandwiched. If he does, Rockets may win convincingly.

Rockets should NEVER be swept by an East team?
As much as it pains me, it has happened before ... quite a lot actually ....

Do u want recent stats or do u want to go back, ... say to the Championship yrs?

How about getting swept 0-2 by:
    Chi in 96, 98, 02
    Cleve 02
    Det in 03
    Indy in 2000, 02
    Mia 96, 97, 98, 02
    Milk 2000
    NY 95, 96, 00, 03
    NO 97, 98
    NJ 02
    Tor 2000

    and remember Orl in 95, 96, 97, 98, 00, 02?
We only lost 0-1 agaisnt them in 09 'cause it was a strike shorten yr! ;)

I know this was last game, but does anyone think that boki is out of JVG's doghouse, he played more than pike, or was it a one game thing, anyone?

With the exception of the Spurs, the Celtics defense was the best I've seen this year. They literally took Yao out of the game.

Let's see if Rox can adjust and take advantage of defense that traps SF and fronts Yao.

....it's our move. Time to step up and grow up.

celtics' answer to our pick and roll was double teaming it.

Pllllllllllllease dont let me see a whole bunch of kamikaze-styled dribbling through the double team that always ends in a turnover.

that double team the pick and roll was killing our one trick pony dribble dribble dribble offense. i wonder what JVG will draw up for tonight...dare we actually set up some post up plays?
