With our schedule coming up we have NO CHOICE but to win this game. We blew an easy win with the Utah game. 3 game losing streak, we cant let it reach 4 with our upcoming schedule. Considering the way we played against Utah, if this team doesnt come out like a rebounding machine and HIGH INTENSITY, then they better check their heart. This team has to learn how to toughen up, even without Sura.

Someone called it in the Jazz game thread. The team went in overconfident. That plus the natural effects of Sura being out and adjusting to James made us lose. While Sura is still out and we're still adjusting to James, the Rockets will be more prepared after having lost a 'should've', recognizing the Bulls are a dangerous team right now, and being hungry after a three-game win streak. I expect Yao to break out, and be aggressive, if the refs will let him .
I think Jerry Sloan set the blueprint on how to abuse the Rockets by taking advantage of their weak PF spot on defense. The Rockets need to be multi-dimensional and not settle for long jumpers too often (especially when you cant rebound). Going inside to Yao, and T-Mac to the rack should be more of an option. We definately cant have another 4th QTR let down against this young team. Correct! We definately need to win this one with the next few games looking very tough. Hopefully Sura will be back in time to help us with the more difficult teams next week. But for now, one game at a time. We should win this one!!! NO EXCUSES!!!
The NBA is all about match ups. When we played the Bulls earlier we beat them and they were playing well. They played well the day after we kicked there butts as well. Its just Houston matches up soo well against them. There perimeter players can't guard T mac and Curry could never guard Yao. Defensively we match up well with them b/c they play with small guards which we are full of. IF Houston wins the rebound war and we shoot a decent three point percentage we win.
This is going to be a tough one. Chicago is one of the top rebounding teams in the league and that is obviously the Rockets biggest problem as of late.
