Folks asking for a new coach keep in mind Stome and Tilman plan is to get a top 3 pick and it’s been that way from the start of season…. The race is still tight, Rockets can only afford to win 1 game every 10-15 or so

 

It’s not working. Just parts that were mixed and matched. So many deficiencies. So many limitations. Putting KPJ and Wood in these new roles as leaders and building a team around them never seemed like the right recipe. But maybe that’s what this is about in the post Harden era. Putting some sort of product on the floor and semblance of a team in hopes of some sort of good return and hopefully generating some excitement in the short term, but we all know the product isn’t good. It never was. We just hoped it would be. We all knew and are waiting for the next iteration of this team whatever it might be because this isn’t it. It never was.

It will be interesting to see how this team will be built with the draft and free agency. Lots of decisions to be made with Tate and Wood FA in 2023 and KPJ rookie extension after this year. They have some cap room with today’s trade. To me we need to get rid of the KPJ/Wood comedy tour. Whatever it is we are ready for the next version of this team. What will it look like? Where will we be? I guess that’s what keeps us tuned in and coming back every year.

 

Jovic is in this draft he is a 6'10 SF.

Either draft Jabari Smith(6’10), Pablo from Duke(6’10) or Chet from Gonzala (6’10). One of the guys has to
be on our team next year to help with our Rebuild. Each of these players are going to be Stars. We need to lose every game.

 

On the bright side, Schroder's coming on board soon. With him, this defense will be humming!

LOL at all of the KPJ is garbage hot takes from a month ago. His shooting is not sustainable but the guy is definitely a foundational piece so long as his head is on straight. Kid is a difference maker and looking more and more like a point guard as of late. Keep getting your swerve on scoot!

Green has been scoring at a better percentage this month so far. Been aggressive. Porter Jnr has been outstanding lately with his threes
