Well if Juwan Howard is not suspended we should win. But if he's not able to play, it's going to be that much tougher. I'm certainly not betting on the Rockets if he doesn't play because Swift is very unreliable.

I am going to the game, hope they at least make a respectable showing tomorrow night. It will be difficult to win, but not impossible.

The Rockets really need this win. These are one of the games the Rockets have to have. They can't afford to go 1-2 or 1-3 anymore. 2-1 is the worst the Rockets can do. If they can win 2 or 3 and lose one and keep that up for a week or two then maybe they can afford to play .500 for a short time. but right now, gotta win.

Denver is missing Camby and Nene. We are missing Yao and Howard. There's no excuses. Rockets must win.

I hope Lucas is back in time to play. Swift has to play 35-40 minutes between C & PF, Deke might get 30 min. We will see more Baxter and Rybo. It would be nice to see Baxter shine, get some bounds and put some points in!

One can only imagine what the Houston Rockets could achieve if they had a healthy supporting cast to play with Tracy McGrady.

McGrady will try to extend his streak of 30-point games to six and the Rockets hope to avoid their fourth straight home loss as they meet the Denver Nuggets at the Toyota Center.

McGrady surpassed the 30-point mark for the fifth straight game -- a first since coming to the Rockets in 2004 -- in Houston's 112-92 loss Friday to the Toronto Raptors.

He has poured in 35.8 points per game during that span, but the Rockets are just 2-3.

An injury to a key player has contributed to the Rockets owning the league's worst home record at 3-9, and a suspension to his replacement may not help matters.

The Rockets will be without Juwan Howard as he serves a one-game suspension for shoving a basketball into the face of Toronto Raptors guard Mike James after a hard foul in Friday's loss.

James, a former member of the Rockets, finished with 30 points against his former team. He and Howard argued before Howard was ejected.

Asked if he has a history with Howard, James said: "Actually, that's my boy. Well, I thought he was."

Howard, who was suspended by the league Saturday, didn't want to discuss it, saying "Don't ask me about it."

After All-Star center Yao Ming was sidelined after undergoing toe surgery last month, Howard, a 13-year veteran, saw increased playing time and responded by averaging 14.8 points and 7.9 rebounds in his last nine games.

Houston, though, has won seven of its last eight home games against Denver.

The Nuggets wrapped up a six-game homestand Friday with a 114-112 overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points and Andre Miller totaled 12 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, but a defensive lapse proved the difference as the Nuggets dropped to 0-4 in overtime this season.

After Miller made the first of two free throws with 3.6 seconds left to bring the Nuggets to within 112-110, he purposely missed the second free throw and Kenyon Martin tipped in the rebound, knotting the game at 112-112.

The Mavericks' Devin Harris found himself wide open for the game-winning layup with 2.2 seconds remaining.

"We had a lot of energy and converted and got a lot of good stuff, but that is a tough way to lose a game," Nuggets coach George Karl said.

Denver scored at least 105 points in five of the six games on the homestand, but a defense minus the NBA's leading rebounder, Marcus Camby, allowed an average of 104.7 points.

Camby has missed the last five games after undergoing surgery on his broken right pinky finger on Dec. 29. He said Thursday that he'd like to return to the lineup by the end of the month, according to the Rocky Mountain News.
