    I have thought all along that the Rockets win this game...

    HOWEVER..

    Now that playoff seedings are set, at least where Dallas and Houston
    are concerned, then this game is literally meaningless, except as pertains
    to the vague notion of 'going into the playoffs on a good note'..

    When Dallas plays Houston IN Houston, and both teams are at full strength,
    and both teams are TRYING to win, then I think we win.

    So, since both teams are going to be at the same deflated level, it'll come
    down to coaching, defense, and the hearts of the backups for both teams.

    To read the Mav's boards, their fans think Nellie is the worst coach in the universe.

    They hate several of their own players, and their depth is not as good
    as ours.

    I think, if anything, our bench players will be playing even better defense,
    and will be playing harder than the starters, since JVG has been so
    stingy with the minutes this year.. whereas Nellie has been such a
    cuckoo with the playing time and rotation, it's hard to imagine the
    Mavericks being 'up' for this game.

    Therefore, I predict that we win this one, in a relatively easy fashion,
    by at least 12 points. Let's say, 105 - 93

    As long as no Rox players get hurt I don't care if we lose by 50.

    Who cares?

    A Rockets blowup win in the form of 200-70 or loss like 80-150 means the same thing to me.

    Might still watch the first 20 min of the game though.

    I don't care who wins as long as no one get hurt but the Rockets still win and pick up the 46th win of the season.

    On Rockets.com, Steve and Cat will sit out another game tonight against Dallas. I hope they are not too seriously injured. This will be good for the role players to get some playing time. I hope Cato gets to play tonight or is there something else going on with him??

    last game of the regulare season and it is meaningless in terms of the record, so i'd agree the other said 'who cares'. my only wishe is all the starters rest on the bench suit up or not and let the second or third team go at it.

    I hope JJ gets some rest tonight as well.
    Maybe SF will get an epiphany from watching the offense from the bench and suddenly become the prototypical PG that we've all hoped for.

    It would also be nice to get Wilks some more minutes and rest MJax.
