I remember Yao said to a Chinese news paper that he (or the team) sort of figured out how to play Mavericks in the late 4qrt during their last meet, but it was too late to do it. I hope he's right and this time they'll have 48 mins to do it.

now if we can get just ONE win against the mavs and ONE win against the grizzlies then i'm going to be way excited about the play offs this year. i'm still buzzing off that awesome win last night. the perfect medicine for that heartbreaker against LA was putting it to the twolves.

 

Patience and ball movement will beat that zone and some great transition defense would help too.

They should at the very least be prepared and have a game plan that gives them a chance to win.

As long as they play with heart and execute I'm good whether it be a win or loss... I want progress.

 

This is the only team that Yao hasn't win since coming into the NBA, how sweet it will be if we can pull out this game tomorrow.

Gawd I hope we win this one. I am soooooo tired of losing to the Mavs, I would love to say that the Rockets are on a roll and starting to understand how to contend with the best of the West. The last couple of games we have had against the elite west were close games. Well, I hate the Mavs and I hate losing to them even more. I wanna see Cuban's face red after consecutive loses to the Texas teams.

Predication:
Rox plays suffocating Defense to shut down anything inside the 3 point line, so what do No D Norwitzky do, Irk and co will try to light up from 3 point line, then proceeds to missed 15 straight 3 pointers and shoot themselves out of the game, meanwhile, Yao and co grabs those missed 3 point rebound and run up the score on the Mavs.

well the mavs are weak inside, rasho nesterovic and malike rose did whatever they wanted last night. in that case our frontline should dominate. but the thing is, we don't have the discipline the spurs have. also, when the dallas shooter are on, not even the 93 bulls or the 95 rockets could stop them.

but, lets say we play an intelligent game, and the dallas shooters have another off night.
