This is going to be an exciting game.. up until about the end of the 2nd quarter when the Rockets really start to pulverize their faces. Francis will shine and whine and seem to have a good time but it'll be such a blowout by the 4th his ass will be on the pine. I expect a few boos here and there but nothing like the orlando jeer and they'll not throw beer aside from that this is when the Rockets start to sprint a little in the marathon. Maybe the planets are aligning for them just right, or this is the part of the schedule that every good team has where they string together wins and break away from the rest of the pack, but the Rockets won't lose again until the 11th of next month, at Indiana. enjoy the streak...
Funny and Sad at the same time. What happened: Yao hits his first freethrow and Stevie goes over to give him five as they used to do and stops halfway after realizing they aren't teammates anymore. Actually, more sad than funny.
We will win. Yao will go to Magic locker room again the console SF3 and they will spend some time together.
I will be there, got my tickets right now. I will be wearing my francis jersey and if I had a Mcgrady jersey I would wear it too. I will be cheering Francis in the Intros...but booing every shoot after that. By the way, tickets are going fast. I wanted the $40 or $50 seats, but they are sold out. The next best ones were the $30 or $95. Hopefully, its a sellout and we have that place rocking. GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!
Rockets should have fresh legs agains with the two days rest. Magic will keep it close for 3 quarters but T-mac takes over in the 4th and leads the Rockets to a 4th straight win !! Rockets 107 Magic 99
I have to agree, that was sad. You know, I'd kinda gotten used to the Steve bashing (the guy does have his faults) and even took pleasure in seeing him get ripped, by people here, by his own miscues, mainly at first to feel that the trade was validated, partly to feel that the rest of the NBA (or Orlando at least) gets to share in some of the frustration we had with his game while he was here, and eventualy the hate gained momentum and took on a life of its own... But while watching the torrent of the Orlando game, and now this clip (I didn't notice it while watching the game), watching Steve in that Orlando uniform, I suddenly felt guilty for wanting the Rockets to destroy Steve in that game. The look on Steve's face in the 4th when he knew the game was lost, that was pretty (unexpectedly) heart-wrenching. The dude sincerely wanted to play here, he wanted to play with Yao, he wanted to play for Houston. He always gave 100% for us. I'm now truly sorry for all the (post-trade) Steve bashing garbage posts I've put on this site. I realize now, to me, Steve will always be a Rocket. Good luck Stevie.
i dont think the rockets can win this one. the magic are gona fight us with a vengence, and theres some bad blood between Sura and Francis which might get ugly. i just hope the fans dont give Francis the treatment that the Orlando fans gave to T-Mac, after all, Francis did want to stay.
