Big led in the first half for the Rockets, then fade in the 2nd, but eventually hold on to win the game at 92--87.

My brain tells me it would be another tough close game and we lose.

But my heart tells me we can't lose this one, we will keep fighting. We must win and we will win.

So I go with my heart.

Section 432... Wonder if I'll still be able to see Malone flop from up there... Hope someone steps on him. Hard.

I was at game 1 at Staples Center. I could see him flopping pretty clearly from my seats in the top. I'm sure you will have no problem.

Rockets must pull off this game. I have a feeling that Shaq won't be held down for a second straight game, while Kobe & Karla will have drastically reduced statistics. Keeping Yao out of foul trouble will be key also, Franchise is playing smart ball, Jimmy J. is as consistent as can be expected, and Cuttino looks to have his way when he wants.

While it's somewhat easier to predict the play of the starters, the key aspect for both teams will be the production of their role players. Should the Rockets keep Fisher, Fox, Walton, Medvedenko, George, & Russell out of the flow of the game, and the Rockets get solid contributions from Cato, Taylor (especially), Piatkowski, Boki, and M. Jackson - we should be alright. But this is nothing that we don't already know, nonetheless, I believe the Rockets' will step up and defend their homecourt and anticipate Yao and Jimmy J. having a big game. The end score being the result of needless fouls at the end of the game.

    Rockets 95
    Lakers 88
