if t-mac is out, yao needs to step up his game like he did in the 2nd half of the wolves game. other guys like boki and taylor also have to step their game up. jim jackson will bring it.

Have to beat Lakers even without T-Mac. You have to win those games you are supposed to win and a good start is awfully important for the whole season. I expect Rox to win at least 8 or 9 games in Nov.

    94: 84 Rox

Yao has to be aggressive from the beginning, I don't want to see Chris Mihm outplays Yao in the first half again.

I hope T-Mac come back to the court. I had more confidence to Rox after last game. Rox did a good job without T-Mac. I predict that Rox will get champion at the west conference this season! Anyway, Rox will win the game, 105:89

Yao needs to establish himself early and often and start the game by getting the other teams bigs in trouble. Since the Lakers dont have any bigs this would mean big trouble for them.

Rox blow them out to avenge the loss yesterday.

    Rox 108
    Lakers 69

    Yao - 44pts/20rebs/12blks

I have a good feeling that we'll win this one.

Kobe has an edge over a recovering TMAC, so the team has to help out to shut him down. As for Yao, with added strength and conditioning, he won't be easily pushed off the block by Grant or Mihm. JJ must stay on with Butler as he's playing great recently. And if the team can slow down the lakers' tempo, this game is our's to grab.

Kobe has an injured foot, Tmac has an injured hip, that should even out. We have Yao, they don't have Shaq, we will win 103- 92.

    we have a real offense.

they have a crappy iso-ball offense.

    rockets 220
    lakers 45

but, b-nach will be held to under 200 pts.

Lakers have one superstar, we have two (if TMAC is available)
They are also coming to the Toyota Center playing us on their fourth game in five nights road trip.

    What else is there,
    Rox Win!

Yao seems always got pumped to play the Lakers, with Shaq or not. I expect a total dominance inside from Yao, go to the line more than a dozen times, put LA's front line in foul trouble before 4th qtr start.

The problem will be our defensive rebounding. LA has a very active/speedy front line going for the offensive board. Mo/Juwan/Yao need to do a great job of protecting the glass.

Rockets are rested, Lakers will be thinking about the long rest they have after the game so the Rockets will have their first double digit win of the season.

    Count on it!
