Super high IQ and spatial awareness on display. It’s why Amen is playing starter minutes off the bench and Cam is DNP-CD

Ive always said that sometimes dumber GMs actually save Stone from himself. Imagine if we really traded for Mikal lol

 

Just watched highlights of the game on NBA TV. Those total chumps showed more of the Knicks than the Rockets.

 

Man, I thought they were on the floor a lot, but Anunoby, Brunson and Bridges playing 40 minutes in the 6th game of the year is peak Thibodeau.

The man is a great coach, but he just doesn't comprehend how to play the marathon. I fear Udoka might have a lot of his bad tendencies in that regard.

 

Don't worry about it. Only FVV gets to play close to 40min a game.

 

I wanted Mikal here, he's a great team player it just depended on the price. Problem is there is no way he was worth the 4 first round picks the Nets wanted. Definitely not worth everything the Knicks gave up to get him.

 

Brooks is most useful when he guards big men who like to play outside (e.g. Wemby).

 

Reminds me of Harden whose sturdy body could only let him guard the low post and post players.

When he put his mind to it.

 

He also reminds me of Harden in that I don't want him on the team.

I feel like this was the first game this year where we played hard all 4 quarters. We didn’t shoot well, but we played hard all the way through …and that’s why even when NY cut it to 3 a few times down the stretch, they were never really in control of the game. I still don’t like our offense, but I’m pleased with the effort, physicality and defense.

Tari and Amen are true all around difference-making players that should both be getting more minutes than Jabari. Jalen looks like he’s going to be a streaky player, but I’m so pleased hes becoming a plus defender. I knew Sengun would bounce back. His midrange is the key. I was impressed with him tonight defensively as well. Fred played better, but I still expect more. You can see Reed getting more comfortable with playing time. I have a man crush on Steven Adams.

 

that’s basically the definition of an inconsistent team. Even within games, they can’t play all four quarters on a high level.

 

is whitmore injured or just out of the rotation?
