I figure Clutch won't be able to start a game thread since he is in Houston attending the game.

    Please post any radio links.

    Rockets summary

    -On the mend-

The Rockets left Denver two power forwards short. They could, however, be back, or close to full strength today against the Kings.

Maurice Taylor was limited to 15 minutes when he strained his left shoulder and elbow after getting tangled up with Nuggets forward Nene early in the second half Friday. Taylor did not return to the game, but after treatment Saturday he was expected to be ready to play today.

"He got his arm caught with the guy and he twisted it," Rockets trainer Keith Jones said. "He hurt his shoulder and elbow. But he came in (Saturday) and was able to do everything we asked of him. He seemed OK."

Taylor had been averaging 15 points on 53 percent shooting in his seven starts this season. He had six points and two rebounds before he was hurt Friday.

Kelvin Cato has missed nine games with a left shoulder sprain. He has traveled with the team for the past four road games and went through his most extensive test Saturday. Cato is expected to undergo his most extensive test this morning, but he could be cleared to play.

"Cato, we'll make a decision on him (this) morning," Jones said. "Cato's better, but there was still a little pain and weakness. We'll try some other stuff tomorrow."

I have a feeling the Rockets will win this one with ease. And from here on they will play much better. We gotta get back to going to Yao though.

    Rockets 104 Kings 89

We really really need this win.

I'm hoping we pull this one out. Yao plays his best with 1 day of rest, so he may be able to take this one over.

For any East Coasters out there, we're getting the Indiana v. Detroit game and not the Rox! Stupid regional broadcast.

With Webber in the game the kings struggle. That seems to be the big difference in the 1st half

I believe it's clutchcity. It's been awhile since I've been in the chat, so it may have changed. If that doesn't work try clutchchat or clutchfans.

well vlade just whined and got a technical. i guess that means we won't be getting any calls in the second half.

where was peja for most of the second quarter? thank goodness we didn't have to defend him.

hey piatkowski, don't bother ever actually hitting a 3. you're not getting paid to do that or anything.
