Wow, the first game of the 2005 season. I can't wait! See yall in the Game Chat room! I'll be there! 96-88 ROckets win GO ROCKETS!
Me too! Anyone else get the Rockets.com email today? http://click.nba.com/viewmsg.cfm?n35009s130c1032497t129e445468 Will they really go back to the "old" intro music?
Any word on whether or not TMac is playing? If he's not, and I hate to be pessimistic, I don't hold out much hope against the Kings.
Yao will probably have a field day. Adelman is one of the final holdouts for not double-teaming Yao. Rox 104 Kings 98 Yao: 30+ pts T-mac: 25ish Rafer: 8+ asts Stro: 2 highlight reel dunks Barry: 2 pullup 3's Everyone else: Efficient scoring
Rox win baby! Anyone else kind of scratching their heads at why the Rox aren't included in "NBA's premiere week" of games televised nationally? They have the sorry ass Fakers on THREE times this week. The NBA's marketing people are crazy, how can you not put YAO/T-Mac and the new look Rox on at least once during this week to promote the NBA. Oh well, another reason to BOOOOO D. Stern at the All Star Game this year.
When I think of Yao vs. the Kings, I cringe at the thought of Bibby sneaking behind Yao on the baseline and stripping him of the ball. It's really almost a delayed double team, but it always seems to catch Yao off gaurd. Hopefully with more arm strength, he'll be able to hold on to the ball despite mini me's attempts.
Rocks 87 Kings 82 I think the game will be kinda low scoring as both teams get used to their new lineups. Still, with a win to kick off the season we'll be rockin' at the TC baby!
