This will be a win. Yao always shows up when there is strong competition (meaning a big name center). Yao will have a great game. TMAC will bounce back from his shooting slump, with a great shooting night for 32pts. The other guys will be hot again too. (Wes, MJ, etc.)
Management has done great job with this roster from top to bottom, now are weakest link is power forward again without Howard are offense does not flow we will be lucky to go 500 the rest of way. Rockets loose close game time to panic
For us to win this game, we have to have a big effort from Deke playing alongside Yao on the interior defense. If Van Gundy continues to go with Spoon and Padgett, I'm afraid we are headed for another L. The most important component of our team right now is the interior defense. Our perimeter defense is pretty good but when the little men can drive the paint and get the ball inside with ease, we are vulnerable to Yao getting in foul trouble without Juwon there to bail him out with a little bit of defense and taking some fouls that normally Yao would get. I don't think Van Gundy has much choice right now but to give Deke some minutes at the 4.

The clash of Titans. Arguably the best duo in the East against best duo in the West. No matter what, it's gonna be a great game to watch. I think it all comes down to who is bringing out the "gun" tonight. If outside shooting for Rockets are hot, we win. Yao and Shaq will cancel each other out, Dwane Wade will be unstoppable as will be TMac. Rockets 98 Heat 94
Hard to be optimistic about this one; the Heat are perhaps playing the best ball in the league at present. The Rockets are in a mini-slump. The loss of Howard definitely was a step backward. The Rockets were "blown out" by Boston and Minn. and without a resurgence of some kind, it doesn't look good. Homecourt doesn't seem to mean much to the Rockets. Looks like three in a row, sorry to say.
Heat- 374 Rocket- 24 We lose by the widest margin in NBA history but this is just the warm up to the main event: YOFs vs anti-YOFs. If we lose (or win for that matter) can you YOFs and anti-YOFs control yourselves for once.
