    • Please do not post play-by-play or "nice dunk" type posts in the game thread. The chat room will have live play-by-play among other discussions. This also helps relieve the burden on the BBS server.
    • I can appreciate when people try to start the game thread, but the reason I try to keep it started by me is for reference purposes. It's easy to find an old game thread when it's always written by the same author and uses the same subject naming convention. Some times I'm late with this, and I apologize -- dropping me an email is usually a good reminder if you notice I'm late.

    Last season it was 3-1. I doubt Grizzlies will have better luck this year. Simply put, Rockets own Grizzlies !!

    Grizz double then triple Yao leaving Rox triumvirate of power forwards (Cato, Braggs, MoT) open to get freaky rebound and dunk numbers.......POUND THE PAU!!!!

    SF - 26 pts 7 assists

    Game is very close in the 1st half because of YOU KNOW WHO coughing up the ball on a regular basis. When YOU KNOW WHO is on the bench, Rox pull away. :)

    The Houston defensive intensity was impressive against the rookie Orangeman, but will it be enough to contain White Chocolate?

    If there is one player that can slice and dice his way through the JVG red-zone, twin-tower defense is Jason Williams. If Houston can limit Jason Williams' molasses-sweet perimeter game, legendary passes, and HOF control on fastbreak opportunities; then the Rockets have a chance.

    Francis has improved on defense, but it will take a collective effort to contain Jason Williams. This will be an exciting game.

    i agree: the longer moochie is on the bench, the better chance we have of pulling WAY out front in this one.

    I'm counting on Yao Ming absolutely HARRASSING the WEAL Grizzlies rotation at C. Tsakilidis, Lo-Wright, and Swift? Puh-lease. Yao has at least 60lbs on each, and probably 80lbs on Swift.
