Just got home from the game. Halftime was a bummer, being down it seemed people didn't think we could win. The way Harden took that game after being out with his 4th foul in the 3rd made the crowd electric. A lot of free throws but great game glad i could be there.

look i appreciate aggresiveness and in absolute terms, barnes is fine... but talking about and to someone' mama is a whole new story and just very low of barnes esp considering he has kids of his own... very bad move by barnes both morally and practically because harden will make you pay..

also, harden's mom is probably made out of platinum given she came out of compton as a single mother and raised a man like harden

Agreed I think we will win game 3 even with CP3 playing.

Did you guys see how well we played, in fact how we essentially dominated and controlled the game there at the end of the third quarter and into the 4th? Did you see how much energy there was, how tight the defensive pressure was? We need to play that way the whole game. No sagging off your man, no walking, no laziness. Play tight, energetic defense, and we can beat anyone.

Don't feel good about this win but I feel good about the 2nd half adjustments made in the 2nd half. Feels like this is the first time this season Mchale has made a 2nd half adjustment.

Terrence Jones is the key to a Rockets victory over the Clippers this series. He must always stay matched up on Blake for the rest of the way.

I wish D-Mo was playing in this series. He would fit in well in the half court with Prigioni despite his poor rebounding. Howard could help D-Mo out.

Smith needs to play near the basket most of the time, on defense and offense. Half court play is not his game, but he needs to be patient. He should be an emergency ball handler and take only open shots.

I want to believe that they can go to the Finals but times again they had questionable games like the 2 games at the end against Dallas and the first game vs Clips.

This whole thing is doubtful. They are not experienced enough together but they have a fighting chance.

3rd round it could be. Now I must really spy on that Mem- GSW series to be sure.

Thanks for your take. I'm in agreement with most of what you say. EXPERIENCE is important for sure and I see your point. The old saying "Act like you've been there" is hard when you haven't.

My biggest concern I guess is that there are times when we absolutely are not "in" the game...going through the motions. When we show up, we can win.It is the inexplicable times we don't that are so baffling.

I don't feel so great about taking one in LA this weekend but Game 3 would seem to be the best opportunity...CP3 just coming back and all.

Also agree on the valuable experience but you only get so many chances and you have to capitalize.

Finally...any idea why carrying leads into the 2nd quarter can't be built upon?

Lmao if true, Barnes gonna get his ass beat one day. I'm all for Joey Dorsey being told to level that guy.

I guess this isn't apocryphal. Let it motivate Harden.

Barnes should just be happy the furlough plan lets him play in the NBA. But as soon as you go to the locker room, Barnes, put the ankle bracelet back on!

Dwight, Ariza, Jones and Terry were big in this game. They kept us in it before Harden showed up in the 4th.

Harden must learn to compete every possession, not only when the game is favorable to him. He must will himself to change the game to suit him. Maybe he's finally learning.

BTW....just a gut feeling but I think it is very possible that Memphis gets GSW.

We better lay Barnes out with Dorsey next game, just have him come in the game, go Daffy duck gut check time on him and get tossed!
