The only thing we need to do is shut down LeBron. He is on fire recently.

Drew Gooden hurt his groin last night, so I doubt he'd play tomorrow.

with Varejao, the heart and soul of the cavs, still recovering from the high ankle sprain, I can see the rockets keeping a big lead throughout the game.

no varejao, and maybe no gooden, we can eliminate a lot of the second chance opportunities and play good defense.

How is the Rockets winning going to "shock the world"? The Rockets are the better team and in the case that they do win, nobody should be surprised whatsoever.

hopefully playing boston and winning will make the cavs tired and complacent.

not that we need that. we need to just come in and play our game, but it might help.

    one more thing,

utah plays denver that night and NOLA plays phoenix.

Time for the Rockets to show how much better they've gotten on national TV. This will probably be a damn good game.

Rockets fans are looking down to their own team. Utah announcers said TC is the quietest arena in NBA. Shame on the fans. :D

Ilgal will concentrate on shutting down Yao. Luckily he's just the brute type center that Yao can dominant. LeBron will dominant that's always a guarentee. TMac I actually think won't do all that well because LeBron can bully him defensively. It's up to the roll players. Rafer won't do much either because Hughes is bigger, stronger and a good defensive player. This game comes down to Gooden vs. Landry/Scola in my mind and whether we can keep Gibson from getting open looks. I like how we have been playing and with three days of rest Yao should be energized again, and TMac should be closer to 100% with the extra rest.

I think it will be an average scoring game since both teams are rested they should be ready to run the court offensively, but both teams are good defensive teams (Rockets 4th Cleve 12th in pts allowed).

I'll go 92-89 Rockets. Hey last time I was close with my 88-83 prediction for the Bucks game (didn't do one for Minny).

Talk about a gut check, this ones gonna be tough. Cleveland is rolling, they took out the Celtic's in a equivalent of a UFC fight lastnight. But for all the naysayers that said we've only beaten scrubs the last couple of weeks, this will be a good measuring stick. My feeling is it'll be tough but at the end of the night, the Cavaliers will be asking what hit them? Rockets Win!!
