Rockets 42, all in the first quarter, the best first quarter we play all year.

On the bright side, Dallas fans know when a man is down and were surprisingly un-harsh last night.

    GO ROCKS!!!

I dont know about this one. The wolves just suffered a hard defeat to accept. The were in the game the whole time with dallas, and they should have won.

Wolves are thirsty for another win, and the rockets....They better be fiesty to get a win too..

I really dont like the odds of this one.
...my first prediction of a rocks loss.....
    NAW!!!

    Rocks: 102
    Wolves: 97

Free throws and steal seals the win.;)

Is this game a necessary loss to get meaningful change underway asap? I am not talking about the coach in particular but as a UCLA fan, I have thought of rooting against the team to accelerate the departure of Steve Lavin who has pretty much destroyed a proud program with his terrible coaching.

You are talking ******** mate. This is a must win if we want to make the playoffs. And all is forgotten if we do make the playoffs!

Last time I predicted 'Loss' and the Rockets won. So let me say 'Lose' again.

To use a quote from Steve Francis in the Houston Chronicle today, I hope the grass starts growing against the Timberpuppies so that it covers up the snakes. ;)

The Rockets need to know and accept that they are not built to outscore anyone. With that in mind they can go out and play better perimeter and inside defense because that is the only way they can win consistently.

I am not really infatuated with wins or loses. I just want to see our team give a good account of themselves - PLAY AS ONE TEAM (broken record? I hope not).

Oh by the way, please remind our beloved guards that THE SHOW IS ABOUT YAO MING and not them - they are just 'extras'.

It all depends how Mobley and Francis are going to play (passing the ball and playing smart ) .

sorry,i have forgotten something about geomantic omen!usually i'm an antitheist, but after the latest rockets' games i feel a little fetishistic. The new year in chinese folks is called Yangnian(sheep-Year).The first game of the sheep-year is playing Timberwolves. sheep vs wolves,it is a ill-boding !i am sorry for our sheep into the timberwolves!so i predict we will get a loss
BTW,it's time for rockets to mend the fold because their sheep are lost!

we have the potential to win, but, team as young (read 'immature') as us, it's difficult to say. :(

watched last night, wolves vs mavs. have to say, it was really nice game. much more enjoyable than our two previous encounter w/ the mavs.

anyway, wish we'll win this and start a win streak...

I will be there! Would love to meet some CC.NET folks at the game. Maybe we could designate a meeting place for pre-game, half-time, etc...God knows there's safety and strength in numbers!!

I'll be at the game as well. I'm going to take a heavy dose of Vallium and painkillers to keep the monster in me at bay.

Hopefully we get a win. Heck, they won all 4 games I've been to this year.
