I think we have better chances winning tonight, Tony parker might be out for the game!

Another really tough game for the Rockets! Tony Parker IS expected to play for the Spurs and Eddie Griffin is reportedly out for tonight's game. How the Rockets defend Duncan with Mo Taylor and T-Mo will be very important.

Yao needs to bounce back and have a strong game, double figures in both scoring and rebounding. He has to be agressive. Put the Laker game behind him.

We need to hit the outside shot like we did last night. And we need to continue to play with high intensity and out hustle our opponent. It is because of our rebounding last night that we were able to stay close to the Lakers even though we shot a worse percentage. Hustle can make up for lousy shooting sometimes.

    Bring the intensity tonight Rockets!

One more thing. It would be nice to see the Rockets win this Nationally Televised game. It is the last one of the regular season.

Why does everyone say "FIRST!" when they are really second? I understand that its a reply but sheesh, its just a reply...
Anyways, we're a bad road team. Spurs are good at home and have really dominated us as of late, hell, as of the last 3 or 4 years. They're without Robinson, which might help us, but probably won't. Parker and Manure score 35-40 pts on our backcourt. Spurs win 95-88.
If Yao has a good game we could win, but he's probably still feeling after-shocks from Shaq last night. We'll see how Yao reacts to the post-humiliation. This could be a big 'character' game for him.

Yao seems to hitting a wall again. He didn't play well against the Clippers, and I don't even want to think about last night. Hard to imagine him turning it around offensively. He needs to try to play better D and rebound. With Posey coming around, we have enough scorers.

As much as I love Yao and want to see him succeed, the team might be better off with him as a role player for the rest of this season at least. There were a couple of occasions last night where I thought the team really clicked offensively with Cato on the floor and Mobley, Francis, and Posey running and gunning.

We're too banged up to win right now. Yao's exhausted from last night, Griffin who surprisingly has a bigger impact than people give him credit for is out, and our head coach is gone for the season. We're probably going to be forced putting in a lineup for atleast one of the quarters where we reluctantly must go small (using Posey at PF) , and I think that's where the Spurs will tear us apart. The Rockets will play catch up though late in the fourth, and we'll have us another close one. Spurs have been known the past few games to give up close games though, so it could go either way. I'll be cheering for the Rockets even if I can't watch the game myself. Night classes suck :)
