Really a must win game for the Rockets considering they have the Lakers and Spurs coming up. I predicted the Rockets would go 2-3 on the 5 game road trip and if they win tonight they would do just that. What is even more interesting is initially I thought the Rockets would fall BELOW the Suns after this 5 game road trip but the fact that the Rockets can keep pace with a win tonight is just a bonus. Hopefully the Sonics can upset the Suns as well.

I am not sure why the Rockets have problems with the Clippers. The Clippers will once again be without Brand and Kandi and the Rockets really should dominate in the post. A big offensive game from Yao Ming tonight is a must. He can't allow Parks/Rooks/Wang to slow him down.

The Rockets need to show a sense of urgency in this game the way they did against the Warriors. They can't let down for a second or the Suns will pass them. This is a VERY important game!

Francis needs to have a big game like he did against the Kings and Yao needs to have a big game like the game he had against the Warriors. If both of our ALL STARS perform at ALL STAR level then we win this game. And some points off the bench from Taylor and Rice wouldn't hurt! ;)

Sorry pal, Beat you by a split second. ;)

I originally had very high hopes for WZZ, but seeing how he’s been cryogenically frozen on Clippers’ bench for most of the season ( and you can say the same about BOKI), it really saddens me. He is a decent offensive weapon for Clippers with his 3-pts shooting touch. YAO actually learned from him back in China. Clippers will make him a starter tonight to mach up YAO’s height, but WZZ is slow & not so well conditioned. He will not be so much a threat any more.

We have seen YAO’s first trey the other night, expect some more startled looks on ROCKETS’ opponents face when he drains more such shots.

MAVs got so far ahead of everyone else because they do not rely on so much close-ups. I believe ROCKETS can have a double-barrel gun with RICE & YAO.

we will lose..hate to say that but we will...the rockets play down to the wire yesterday..they will be so tire..and we BARELY beat the clippers when we had a 2-day rest and playing at home..now we're playing them back to back night and on their court..we will lose

Actually I think the opposite is true. ROCKETS play better on back-to-back games.

Clippers will lose to Rockets just because they loath Lakers so much, that a win for Rockets will boost ranking nicely.

Also Clippers will eagerly lick up Rockets tonight for other reasons: thanx to Franchise& Yao, tonight game is a sell-out :p

We will win, because if we lose, the terrorists will have won, and the money used to purchase tickets will go towards funding their means.

    Rox: 97

    Clips: 77

Did you see how frustrated Franchise was...

He's ready to carry this team on his back...The only way we'll win is by him leading the team and dishing to Yao...

Don't know the exact numbers, but Rockets have a better record on the second night of back to back games than on the first night.

All this aside, I think the key to this game is help from our role players, since Yao and Francis will be tired, and to play good D. It's important to try and play a LOCKDOWN defense, and really try to limit them.

    Rockets 89
    Clippers 81

MoT and Mobley will help us to the win tonight, with our stars getting these numbers

    Francis 13 points, 10 assists, 4 TO's, 5 rebounds
Yao 13 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks (you know what that means)
    MoT 28 pts, 7 reb
    Cat 28 pts, 3 reb, 3 asst, 3 stl

rox up by one point with one second left and posey fouls andre miller again. miller shoots the first freethrow from two feet behind the free throw line. as the ball is released from his hand, a strong gust of wind blows a strand of his hair a fraction of a centimeter across the freethrow line before the ball goes through the hoop. refs whistle him for crossing the free throw plane and disallow the 1st shot. miller misses the second shot. rox win.

I hope for a good game!!

My bro and his gf are going to the game. It's her first Clippers game (she's a Laker fan  ) and my bro's first since, gosh, I guess that fateful Utah game in '98.

Let's make the free throws now, Rockets!!!

Disappointing end to a disasterous road trip. The Rockets will be tired and emotionless. Clippers should have this one put away with by the beginning of the 4th quarter...I won't even ATTEMPT to predict a score...The Suns should pull away for good tonight...
