Hope Houston saw how the Bulls played the Lakers the other night. The Bulls double teamed Shaq right away and left Madsen and Fox open for shots. (Read Griffin and Posey). I am sure they will use the same strategy against Yao and the Rockets. Hopefully the Rockets can make proper adjustments there.

Obviously a big game for the Rockets. They need these home games with the tough 5 game roadie coming up.

You would think after the near disaster of the Clipper game that the Rockets would come into this Bulls game playing better team defense. We can hope.

As an aside, this game is broadcast on WGN nationally so those of us (like me) that can't get NBA League Pass on their Digital Cable service (because my city sucks and does not offer it) can finally see another Rockets game. A win on TV would be nice!

I watched that Bulls vs. Lakers game the other night. Eddy Curry looked mighty impressive vs. Shaq. He'll look no less impressive vs. Yao. Tyson Chandler vs. EG -- interesting match-up. Tyson Chandler vs. MoT -- Mo dominates. Steve Francis will have a great game. The refs will once again make certain our playoff hopes stay alive.

Time for the Rockets to come crashing back down to Earth after three rather unimpressive wins

    Bulls 110
    Rockets 79

One more thing, the Bulls have a horrible road record and got demolished by the red hot Grizzlies the other night dispite the fact that Curry had yet another impressive game.

The Rockets need to jump out and bury this team early, let them know they have no chance to win the game. This of course has been the opposite trend of Rockets games as of late but it is something we just have to turn around.

The Bulls beat the Lakers because they shot well and out hustled them. Curry ran the floor better than Shaq.

The bottom line, the Rockets have to match the Bulls intensity and don't let them out hustle them.

The Bulls on the road are the biggest trashes in the NBA. 91-79 Rockets.

How many of the Rocket players remember how they lost to the Bulls their last meeting. I imagine they will finally not play down to their opponent's level and win this one easily. 92-84

If we bury the bulls in the 1st its over. If we let them hang around then we will be in a dog fight.

Eddie or Posey has to break out of their funk and start doing something.

<a name="droxford80">We definitely should win this game, and we definitely need to win this game...

... which means we probably won't win this game.

The bulls have the worst road record in the NBA...if the Rockets can't beat them, then...well...you get the point.

    Bulls Road Record: 3-31

    104-77 Bulls.

The second Q really kills us. 9 points.

Jalen Rose torches the hapless Mobley for 40.

    Yao fouls out
    Francis fouls out
    Griffin goes 0-11
    Mobley fights with Fred Hoiberg
    Posey gets ejected
Rice racks up 29 in the losing effort
