It was nice while it lasted, but now it's back to the clown PJ's. Who ever designed those must have been a Rocket PF...er, high.

I was gonna watch the Rockets get beat, but I got high.
I was gonna get something to eat, but I was high.
Now the Rockets are out of the playoffs, and I know why!
    Because I got high
    Because I got high
    Because I got high...

Read that Eddie missed practice yesterday. Wonder if he will start or if Mo Taylor will start tonight?

I guess it goes without saying this is a MUST WIN game. The Suns play Denver tonight so I think we can almost chalk up a win for the Suns. The Rockets have to keep pace with a win tonight.

The Rockets HAVE to defend their home court.

The key is pretty simple. Just outhustle the Blazers. Play with the same intensity and sense of urgency that they played with against the 76ers and the Magic. Move the ball, get everyone involved and rebound, rebound, rebound against this active Blazer team!

the Rcckets wil win the rest of their games this year. Blazers are thin at the foward spot with Pip and Patterson out.. Pat usually has great games against us for some reason so him being out really helps. Easy victory tonight.

    Rox: 95

    Stoner's/Thugs: 91 ;)

The Rox should continue the momentum...

The "Posey Stopper" is out for tonight's game :D

Randolph's punch broke Patterson's eye socket

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Associated Press

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers forward Ruben Patterson has a broken left eye socket, a result of being punched by teammate Zach Randolph last week.

    Patterson

Patterson did not accompany the team to Houston for Tuesday night's game and is not expected to join the Blazers during their three-game trip, which also includes stops in San Antonio and Memphis.

It was not immediately clear if Patterson would be placed on the injured list, or if he would be available for Sunday's home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Patterson was injured last Wednesday when he and rookie Qyntel Woods began arguing, and Randolph stepped in.

The Blazers suspended Randolph for two games and fined the second-year player $100,000. He has already served both games of the suspension.

Patterson has been ineffective in the three games since the fight, and Portland has lost two of the three games. The Blazers lead Minnesota by .003 percentage points for fourth place in the Western Conference.

Scottie Pippen, who has been on the injured list while recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery, said Monday at practice that he is close to returning, which would ease the absence of Patterson.

"I hoped I could come back (Sunday), but that didn't happen," Pippen said. "I'm hoping every day that it feels better.

"I'm trying to pick up a little bit in practice. Right now I've still got some soreness. As soon as I can get there, where I can tolerate it enough to go out and get some minutes on it, I'll be ready."

A 4-1 finish would virtually guarantee the Rockets a playoff spot. That means they need to split the next two games since their next remaining three are all winnable. And despite their 30-point slaughter of the Jazz last time they went to Salt Lake, tonight's game is still the easier of the two to get.

Sounds like Scottie Quitten might show his ugly face at tonight's game.

I hope we stomp the Blazers - sure would be nice, knowing that the Suns will win tonight against Denver.

Key game for the Rockets tonight because if we lose this game and the game tomorrow night with a Suns' victory against the Nuggets, we'll be down 2 games with only 3 to play for us and 5 to play for the suns. The Rockets definitely need to put 100% effort into the game tonight.
