    honestly, i think he looked better in the old uniform. maybe his shorts need to be more outlined.

    Absolutely nothing... but Rockets marketing research circa 1995 shows that people in general, particularly children, find bears to be the most endearing, and the least intimidating of all things fuzzy.

    I think having a bear is absurd, but that's the answer, or something like it, that was given when Clutch was first introduced.

    What can you do?

    It looks more orange than red. Makes him look like a fruit of the loom character. Damn that uniform's ugly.

    Could be 'cause his look seems to be based on the old color scheme (blue ears, red nose).

    The whole cartoony Rocket thing helps too, I'm sure.

    And I always thought that comic relief at Rockets games was for the 14 year olds and up! Not the 5 year olds.

    The Rockets organization needs to realize that most of the fans in the stands are NOT babies.

    And if Adults (even 14 year olds) are intimidated of any mascot that is not a "teddy bear," Well, that person needs some help.

    I think the "bear" idea was just a quick fix (lazy solution).

    By the way, the "Bear" looks 100 times better in the new unis, vs the old pajamas.
