Crazy bear....No he's not on the balcony this time! For those of you who have not already heard or seen the home page on the web site today, Clutch is currently spinning around and around on the ferris wheel at the Downtown Aquarium. He started riding at 6 am this morning and will be there riding until 6 am tomorrow (Saturday) morning. The stunt is part of the NBA's mascot stunt competion targeted at raising awareness for the Finals beginning next week and being aired on ABC. If you get a chance, stop by the Aquarium for lunch, happy hour, or dinner to route for Clutch as he rides the ferris wheel for a whole day. Clutch's side kick, Rocketman, is also on hand doling out free guest ride passed so that Clutch has some company in his gondola.

I can see the ferris wheel from a window by my office and as soon as I started watching it stopped. After a minute or so it started back up again and all of the seats looked empty to me.

At first I thought he meant Clutch, then I realized he meant Clutch the Bear. ;)

Did anyone else think it was Clutch (as opposed to Clutch the bear) who was on the ferris wheel? For a moment, I was thinking - has Clutch finally gone off the deep end managing this website?

Odd, I'm looking at the Ferris Wheel now and it isn't moving. Can't tell if anyone is on it.

Every four hours? There would more than a few showers underneath that ferris wheel if it were me in that bear suit...

If he's just trying to prove he can withstand extreme nausea, why doesn't he just go to an Astros game?

How tough can it be? It's probably about 10 different guys taking turns wearing the suits. I've seen 3 Clutch suits on the court at one time before (when Clutch does his "good Clutch/bad clutch" routine.

Now if it were the same guy wearing that suit all 24 hours I would be impressed.

I thought it was Clutch, I was like, he's trying to be a mascot now?

I thought our mascot was Turbo....Clutch the bear? Bears are Clutch? I thought they were lazy and furry.

You'd think the Rockets would just make their mascot a Dragon considering their uniforms are already a nod to China.
