I would rather have some sort of trivia. we could make a list up of everyone who wants in and have a different person post a trivia question (1 a day or 1 a week) first one to post the right answer wins. We could split into divisions or pair 2-man teams. We would have to come up with a point system, ex. if answer is post correctly within 15 min 100 points, 30 min 75 points and so forth. The 2 winners from each division go head-to-head for the championship. ------------------ "Is this thing on? I'm in charge now"-Alexander Haig
I vote Kagy out. Since I don't watch that show, or network TV with the absolutely singular exception of The Simpsons. Also, because that show makes my skin crawl. As does every other prime-time show on TV, plus the entire WB Network. Network TV is 21st-century intellectual Darwinism. It makes dumb people dumber. Present company excluded of course. ------------------ You bring the bullets, I'll bring the wine.
Ok this is how it will work than We will Have 16 people 2 teams and we will have a playoff 8 people from each team play 1-1 trivia the 8 people who lose 2 of them will be voted off last person left wins (Diagram bellow) I will gather info and present 5 questions first person on 1-1 to answer all 5 correctly first wins . tell me if you want to play cc.net survivor trivia challenge Red person - green person Red Person wins green person gets entered into drawing to be voted off . Red Person Cannot be voted off then down to 14 people left 7 people from each team play Green vs Red Green wins Red enters into Vote off drawing Green Off then 2 more get voted off until 6-6 5-5 4-4 3-3 2-2 semi finals 1-1 -Winner is Champion and if only red and red or green and green are left they will still play for championship....... sound okay? ------------------ Will Work for Clutch 101 Book [This message has been edited by moestavern19 (edited July 14, 2000).] [This message has been edited by moestavern19 (edited July 14, 2000).]
I kind of like your first scenario. I would like to to put us all on an island and have a vote each day for who to kick off. Sounds spicy to me. Trivia is ok, and i'm in for that too, but I like the first idea better. Just don't put me up against cLutch. That's all I'm saying. Although, I do think I could take him. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
so how long do you think old LHutzie would last, would he try to build himself another bunker of Truth on the island? And would he and tie in a vote and there have to be an out-arguing contest I wonder? ------------------ Finally the Frink has come back to Clutch City! dot net.
Kagy, You may very well be right about network TV, but I think cable has lots to offer. TLC and Discovery are awesome. I learned yesterday that polar bears have black skin to absorb heat and actually lay out on the ice because they are trying to cool off from over heating! Freaky huh! But cool (no pun). Love those channels. For those that refuse to watch TV at all, I think you lose more than you gain. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just think that you can absorb a lot of information visually. More so than by reading. But less so than by living. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
Both scenarios sound cool. Count me in if you ever get around to either of 'em... PSJ- Yeah, cable rules! Ever watch History Channel? There's almost always something interesting there. ------------------ WE WILL WATCH THEM FALL... Next year [This message has been edited by AntiSonic (edited July 14, 2000).]

Are we playing on the moon now or what! ------------------ humble, but hungry. [This message has been edited by PhiSlammaJamma (edited July 14, 2000).]

moe, I'm in, but it would help my cause if you add a couple hockey and general knowledge questions up there, man. I know my lack of knowledge on the NFL and NCAA will screw me over. Thanks. The only channel worth watching is the weather channell, other than that Television sucks....were being brainwashed fellows. Why is it gas stations have radios playing now at the gas pumps? Its pathetic. Even when I jog in the mornings I hear radios blare from cars. It makes me sick. You probably will not believe this but its true. My father and me were jogging one morning, about 6, at our local school track and this lady pulls up here car and opens up all her doors and turns her radio all the way up and begins to walk around the track. I felt like puking. I know this is probably off the topic of the thread but Im coming to a point in my life were I'm more aware of all the meaningless bull**** we accumulate throughout our lives. I mean just listen, really listen to all the diffrent sounds throughout the day, and if you live in the city you may notice most sounds come from machines, cars, lawn mowers, tv, radios, bug-zappers, I hate it. Anything thats not a living organism and makes a sound, I consider noise, and it sucks. ------------------ [This message has been edited by ROCKETBOOSTER (edited July 15, 2000).]
