It's that time again, Rockets Fans.....the settings will all be setup correctly near to the beginning of the season. I just set the defaults up for right now and I set it up offline because there's no exact date right now we can settle with. Catch Leagues are better IMO, they give the WR and TE more value. I think the TE only position is dumb anyway, in my league I just use a WR/TE Flex.
eqr I echo moes' statements about receptions earning points. Nevertheless, I joined and am happy to have done so
I'm in, too....This will be my 7th or 8th year of Fantasy football, dating back to all the "Sandbox" days in college. Anyway, I'll relinquish my spot if I can't do the draft with you all. I think it might be hard to come up with a day that works for everyone, so I guess we'll see what goes down, and how we draft. Oh, an my preference? Playoffs end in week 16, not 17! Week 17 kills teams....you never know who will be playing, and who will be sitting out due to rest for the playoffs. But that's just my two cents....
emoreland, I just set up the league as default for right now. We still have a good 2-3 months before the fun begins (Thursday, Sep. 8). We can setup a live or offline BBS forum draft a week or two before the season starts.
If we're going to do it offline on here, we'll need to start probably a month in advance. Those things take forever. I have my wedding on the 13th and I'll be gone from the 28th-5th too.
We can do that, but we risk of players we pick getting injured/cut, etc. before the season starts. Is everyone ok w/ starting a month ahead of time?
I vote for an online draft too (I don't think it's too late to change). Even with only 10 teams an offline draft takes way too long.
the good (weekends and times between 6-9 pm) spots are going FAST. I suggest you just arbitrarily pick one for safe keeping..
Well, DonnyMost, I checked it out, and it looks like they're all gone. It didn't give me any dates or times to choose. Hopefully Yahoo can add more times since they're all full.
