Do they show the whole game on TV ? If so, about ****ing time! Why didn't they do this before, they should show a lot more. Hopefully both the 95 playoff games have Bill Worrell and Calvin Murphy, especially with the former winning the award of best commentator! Game 1 & game 2 of TBS / TNT commentary was terrible of the 95 WCF @ Spurs, Worrell's commentary is legendary "Olajuwon has david robinson standing in cement" and "olajuwon has robinson bamboozled"
re: Rockets Jones For the most part it is the entire game, with commentary before, during and after with Bill Worrell, Matt Bullard, Clyde Drexler and Mario Elie. As for littering the message boards with advertising to watch FSN programs, all I was simply trying to do was alert Rockets fans about a Rockets program they might be interested in watching. Clutch Fans founder Dave Hardisty is a friend of mine and told me it would be okay on occasion to alert people on the board when there was Rockets content they may have an interest in.
Ah come on, why not use the original Houston feed ? Drexler is terrible and he's going to laugh and they're going to ask him questions about his play all the time. Elie is kinda cool. When is FShouston going to committ to the glorious days and show some old classics, especially with no nba season ? Any chance of that happening ? Some games of the 22-1 streak, some games of the 92-93 winning streaks, beating the bulls in their own arena perhpas, not the stuff we know already and have seen a million times. It's time to really go into the vaults and respect the champions!

it was a marquee matchup. also the last game of the 92 season vs the Spurs would be good, so fans could see the Rockets REALLY getting screwed over.
I'm trying to watch on 678 (DirecTV) and it looked like it flashed for 1/2 second as soon as the Texas A&M game ended, but then it went to the "DIRECTV" screen saver screen. Am I on the wrong channel?

fair enough, my apologize then 1 complaint if you can pass to your superiors, or if its Dish Network, please let me know. I live outside of Pealand, have Dish Network, so basically outside city limits, but do have the sports package. When they show Rockets games, its on the HD Alternate channel instead of the FSNHouston channel. Which means, I couldn't watch this game, any reason why? I am assuming the alternate feeds through Dish Network is only for live games? My FSN channel is showing the "regional" FSNSouthwest feed, kinda sucks I can't watch the game, yet pay for the "Regional Sports Package" with my dish.
I'm enjoying the heck out of watching this with the commentary from Worrell, Bullard and Elie. It gives the game a great perspective.
Matt Bullard looked bored. I bet he was thinking, I could have had two rings, instead I went to Atlanta, (or was that Charlotte?)
If I were to have to live through that game again without knowing the outcome, I'd surely have a heart attack. I'm actually kind of surprised I didn't have one even back then.
I wanted to watch. I even watched the last 5 minutes of that garbage A&M basketball game waiting for it to start. PLEASSSSE get your stuff together with DirecTV so we can watch future episodes.
Don't listen to these forum nazi douches. I wouldn't have known about this if it wasnt for this thread. I rather have these programming alerts as opposed to some of these useless threads on here. This is awesome! I always wanted something like this. I actually wish there was a Rockets channel that wuld play nothing but Rockets games from the entire franchise history.
i would have enjoyed it a lot more without the huge red and yellow logo in the top left hand corner of my screen the entire time. Also, it would have been better with original audio and commentary. bill, bull, and ellie talking over a muffled original was pretty annoying, i kept hoping bill would break out some play by play. i liked hearing what they had to say, but thought it would have been better if they just did a post game with highlights or something. Even though i've seen the game quite a few times i tend to forget things after a year or two without seeing it, and bill, bull, and ellie continuously brought up things before they happened(40 points in the second, kj missing the ft). i'm glad they're doing it, but hope this is a work in progress and not a set format because it has some glaring weaknesses.
